The old version of these shoes (white/grey) was better, they changed this to a 2 boa closure system and the upper boa isn't "threaded" so you have to loop the wire around the hook before you tighten them, it makes it impossible to adjust that closure while riding. They also changed the shape of the shoe just a little. The red color is pretty sweet though.

Love these, I can put them over my bibs when warming up for a race and take them off before the start or I can use them on a cool morning to make extend favorite pair of shorts or bibs in to another temperature range.

The chamois in this is awful, its wide, stiff and set really far back. This may be fine if you are riding a hybrid in an upright position, but if you are on a road bike with a racing fit they don't cut it. There is little to no padding in the areas that make contact with the saddle and all the extraneous material towards the back just gets in the way. My other problem with these is that there is a mesh panel around the knees, so they don't offer the knee insulation that one typically looks for when using knickers over shorts.
