Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got these shoes to use as part of my new commitment to bicycling commuting, and to be honest my expectations were quite low. But so far they've exceeded my expectations in every way. They're stiff enough to perform yet still comfortable enough to wear every day.

The simple velcro straps are easy to adjust and I find myself leaving the bottom two fixed and only loosening the top one to get the shoes on/off.

My biggest complaint is the color, but of course I knew about that when i was buying them ;)

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Recent science has shown that real foods and drinks work as well for recovery as the latest foul-tasting engineered "recovery drinks" - yes, even things like beer (yay!) and chocolate milk can aid in getting you back to baseline so you can go ride more.

Skratch Lab has hit a home run with their latest creation in this recovery drink. The nutrition profile matches what you'll find in chocolate milk but without the preservatives and emulsifiers, you'll find in an off-the-shelf bottle of chocolate milk.

I haven't tried the vanilla but that's because both the coffee and chocolate flavors taste so good that I don't want to chance it. Best of all just add water and you've got an easy way to get some quality calories after a big ride.

My biggest complaint is that the scoop inside can be tough to find in the big bag of mix.

I am a big energy chew fan; gels make me sick, and bars are too hard to eat during serious mountain biking. So naturally I've tried just about every brand and flavor. After trying these chews I have a new favorite!

In my book:
Skratch Labs > Honey Stinger > Clif Bloks > Pro Bar Bolts > Bonk Breaker Chew > GU Chomps > all others

Of the two flavor options I prefer the raspberry, but both are tasty and easy to eat.

OSMO is easy to drink and I like the new tubs and especially the single serving packs. However, neither the blackberry or orange are particularly delicious unless they're ice cold.

I first used OSMO at the recommendation of my teammates and while I do think they're science is solid I much prefer Scratch Labs because it tastes better and mixes more easily. That being said OSMO is definitely my second favorite mix.

these little packets are great for mixing on the go. they tear cleanly, and can easily be added to the tiny necks on bottled water.

Note: After receiving my order the nutrition info seems to be double the listed values in the BC description. my packets list almost exactly twice the amount of each ingredient.
