Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I used one on my gravel bike and it held up perfectly through the Belgium Waffle Ride on my Boone. The other I put on my wife's bike as a retrofit to get her a little more upright; the 20 deg working great so far.

I agree with what many of the earlier reviewers have written: this item nicely straddles the heavy jersey/light jacket category. I've worn it in weather from 40-65 degrees by varying my base layers from Assos summer level 1 to winter 4. Pockets are exceptionally useful and accessible. Large fits me "loose" without flapping.

I can fit 1 tube, a multitool, 2 CO2s, and 2 levers with plenty of room. The attachment to the seat is solid and I like the absence of a seat tube strap so nothing rubs on my thighs

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I tend to run warm but this jersey/jacket has the right balance of front wind protection and breathability for me. I use a long sleeve base layer (ASSOS) and feel comfortable down to 45 degrees. The fit is "snuggish" so I bought a large. I wear a large Mangussta too.

I have two Mangussta's I bought from CC about 1 year ago. The medium fits me race snug (I'm 5'11", 165 waist 30" chest 39") and the large still snug but a bit more comfortable. I LOVE THEM. I've tried several other brands and these are hands down my favorite. BUT... I just ordered and received a new jersey (white to go with yellow and red) and the jersey IS NOT THE SAME!. The fabric has clearly been changed. It is thinner and less stretchy and therefore less compressive. I'm not sure if this was a redesign or simply a change made to reduce cost. What gives ASSOS?!
