Best leg warmers !!
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought the S/M size as a 5'9" man and couldn't have asked for a better item to have in my kit drawer!! Wore them for the second time today on a long gravel ride in the Sierras when fall has finally fallen . I put them on under my Giordana Silverline bibs (also a great value) and they gave me a great warm ride. More than four hours worth with temperatures up and down (mostly down) all day long. Hung them to dry without washing yet so I can wear them again tomorrow. Also own the arm warmers of the same material and they just slay as layers!!

Great fit, great look, great jersey!

I've only wore it twice but the most recent one was a 118 mile ride on a fairly hot day here in Southern California. I should have snapped the sweat stains because it was heavily salted when I finished but the dark blue breathed fine and carried a ton of stuff in the pockets.I think it's priced well compared with other great brands but I would rather spend that money on this understated unit that performs as good as the other highly labeled, loud jerseys out there. Win for Santini!

Great shoe for the money
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These were my first set of mtb shoes and have gone great for me! I’m a 10-10.5 men’s shoes regularly and took a pair of 44s and they run maybe slightly large but that’s about the only flaw for me. I love walking around in these as the cleat lies almost flush with the sole and make very little noise meaning that as laced shoes, they don’t look out of place at a bbq or bar but they also can sustain a good shred. I live near a sweet little gravel track and they have been getting a lot of use. A lot of dismounting and walking up too steep of steps to ride up, scraping on brush and sunlight exposure. Approx a couple of dozen rides in these and they’ve been awesome. And I think I paid closer to $115 when the orange color was on sale and that’s a massive bargain for what you get. I live when you get a good buy like that!

Replaced my Garmin with this and love the ease of use in conjuction with the Wahoo app. I sold my Garmin 520 and am so happy with this unit. Battery life seems to be good so far. Navigation can be a little wonky (I wish Wahoo would take the next big step and allow for re-routing when you deviate from a programmed line) but overall...WIN!

I have a dope pair of Fox ride gloves (dont know the model) but they are medium and fit true to size in my opinion. These run small. I still use them and feel like over time, they may wear in but out of the box a bit disappointing. They look good so maybe just size up.

I got this pump to upgrade a cheaper one I had gotten off of amazon and you can tell where the value is. It takes a little extra time screwing the valve on but it is the most effective way of connecting and efficiently delivery air to your tires. I know the price may be discouraging for others like it was for me but a shop friend told me a good pump is a worthwhile piece of equipment that you should have for a long long time. Kudos Lezyne!!

Dig it!

I've worn it a couple of times so far and had some pretty good sweat and I felt it was fine. I wear a merino base underneath so maybe that helps but I really feel this is the way cycling tops are going. I've used it once for a gravel ride and once for a road ride and it was great both times. I love keeping the lower clasp unbuttoned and the shirt flowing in the wind in that area. I can tell the roadie nerds are taking note. You should too!

Two rides in this beast and it's become my favorite shoe. MTB or Road. I got a 44 and I'm a size 10 casual and these fit perfectly well! I might grab an orthotic once these wear in a little but just a great shoe for the price! Great looking as well!!

I've had a pair of underliners before for casual cycling but they were made for women that I bought at a sporting goods store on sale. This is the first pair I bought made for men and they are heaven! The fit and materials are as good as a pair of high end bibs. I'm stoked that Backcountry is making their own products....especially products with such high functionality. Keep em coming guys!! I typically wear size medium and these fit true for me.

I never thought I would spend so much for a pair of cycling bibs but once I rode in these the first time, I realize where the money goes. It's a next level feel of bib. The chamois is excellent and that's after a severe five hour group ride with over 6,000 feet of climbing and high heat in the Eastern Sierras. I have other bibs to mix in to my routine but I know what my favorite pair are now!

**also....in regards of fit, I ususally wear a medium and bought these as a medium. Know that they fit a little tighter than what you may expect but they form up nicely once you pedal a few miles.

I bought this frame in a fog color size 54 and it's being built as I write this however I have a couple of gripes.
1. the information I relied on when ordering the parts to build this frame up were inaccurate as the new 2019 frame requires a threaded bottom bracket and post mount brakes. This frame I bought requires press fit bottom bracket and flat mount brakes. And they STILL have not changed their item description on it.

I'm still going to build the bike I was shipped because it's silly to send back such a large box I just wish they would not pass this frame off as a 2019 when it is not.
