Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I am a fair skinned person and I always cover my arms while in the sun. I purchased this jersey for an alternative to summer arm skins. I like this jersey because the arms are trim, not tight against the skin, allowing for movement and air flow. Now, I prefer this jersey to arm skins and I plan on purchasing a second one. My original purchase was the blue one and I have had more compliments on this jersey than any one I have ever owned. The 3 pockets are large and the safety flap in each one can keep a cell phone inside in the event of a tumble, just not like a zipper pocket. I use this jersey for road and gravel. The color is fast and the material is high quality has not snagged. This is not a stretch to fit all jersey. Great for cool mornings here in Central Oregon when paired with a wind vest.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I purchased these gloves to use on a cycling vacation where I would be taking pictures. The touchscreen feature does not work. Fortunately I had a pair of Rapha Pro Team Gloves with on the trip. The Rapha Gloves are exceptional for use on my Garmin screen and my iPhone. The Giro gloves unfortunately forced me to remove my gloves in order to navigate my Garmin and to take photos

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The ULTRAZ is the only jacket I have been using this winter. I have relocated to Central Oregon and my wardrobe needed an update for the colder temperatures. I am mostly using this for gravel and trail riding in temperatures from 25-45 F. I have varied the base layers with as little as a CRAFT FUSEKNIT, to the decade old Assos heavy winter base layer, both with zipper necks, and additionally a summer base layer. The neck of the ULTRAZ is large enough to accommodate turtle neck layering without constricting the throat.
Which brings me to the built in face protector. In all of these temperatures I have been wearing an open top, full head protector, with a FuguHelm cap. The built in is connected by 2 1/2 inches of material at the back label, so pulling it up to cover the head up to the FuguHelm leaves a considerable gap for cold air at the base of the neck. So my solution is a full head protector and using the built-in to fill the neck or pulling it up over the face as needed. I have ridden in light precipitation on wet gravel roads and I am kept comfortable and dry. Enough so, I can zip down for temperature control. That said, in these temperatures my feet get cold first, even while wearing winter boots. My core is fully protected and has not gotten cold.
The jacket material sheds moisture and blocks wind to my satisfaction. In mid 30s temperatures, I met 25mph wind gusts, and the only entry seemed to be at the junction of the neck and zipper. The waistband, stretchier in the back, is snug enough to prevent wind from entering from the bottom, and I will add, so are the wrist cuffs. The 1 3/8 inch elastic cuffs are perfect for the gloves I am using.
The 3 rear pockets are easy to access. The internal pocket "lid", 2 3/4 inches deep, made of a mesh material, can work to keep you iPhone secure if it is standing upright. Winter spray will enter the pockets so waterproof protection if you choose. The only thing this jacket is missing is a zippered pocket, but it is not enough to rate this jacket less than 5 stars.
This jacket is distinctly, two layers. The outer soft-shell and the inner fleece. On my dirtiest rides I have washed the jacket, taking care to dry the outside for a bit before turning it inside out on the hanger in order to dry the inner fleece layer overnight. I have also, wiped off the dirt spray with good results. This jacket has added to the number of days I am riding outside. I purchased the Blackseries and I like the graphics and overall look.

This is my cold weather must have cap and I have used it for several years riding in Norcal and now central Oregon. I have a large head, 7.5+ and size II fits perfectly. The hat fits close to the scalp and down on the forehead, covers my ears completely, and closes out any wind trying to come in from the edges. The outside ear loops keep glasses in place so one does not have to put glasses inside the cap, it also works with the arms inside, just a little more cold air intrudes. The material blocks the wind and breathes without any added bulk and my helmet fits easily over the cap. Combined with a helmet cover and various neck gators my head comfort is never an issue. I loaned it to my wife, then bought her a size II due to hair and ponytail. The cap is notched up in the back for a pony tail and works great. The bill is short and does not offer much sun protection but I run it low on my forehead and it covers my wrap glasses from horn to horn with maybe 1/2 inch outfront of center, enough to tilt the head and block some low sun. For comparison I use the original Rapha Winter Cap in warmer weather. The Rapha cap is bulkier, and does not offer as much wind protection, and has a larger bill.

I live in northern California and I wear this glove from cool weather to triple digits. The XXL glove stretches to fit my XXL hands without cutting off circulation and offers sun protection while breathing and staying dry. This glove is near perfection. I just purchased my third pair, and not because they have worn out. The highlighter color, of the woven fabric, fades over time and I like the crisp new color after a while.
