Would love to give this a 5 star review. The shifter works great but the carbon lever is not very durable. While climbing out of the saddle on a tech section it got wrapped up in my shirt and cracked off. I have X01 on another bike and not only is the shifter lighter the lever is also aluminum. CC took care of me on the swap and I replaced the XX1 with an X01. This happened with about 300 miles on the bike and no crashes that could have weakened it.

Yeti nailed it. Great XC machine. I built the frame up with X01/XX1 components. With heavy flow EX wheels the bike weighs 23lbs even with pedals and two bottle cages. I'm 6'1 200lbs and ride a Large with a 90mm stem and the fit is great. I went with a Syntace P6 hiflex post because the frame is pretty stiff.

I've got about 350 miles on mine now and love it! Climbs great, descends even better. Road the Yeti back to back with an Ibis Ripley and couldn't tell the difference on climbs. On descents the Yeti feels a lot more stable and the slack headtube is great. I tried this frame with a 50, 70, and 90mm stem. I'm 6'1 and 200lbs and ride a Large frame. The 90mm stem feels best, regardless of what reviews say about throwing on a short stem. I also swapped out stock bars for 740mm ibis bars that had the same geometry as the carbon haven's.
