Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

They say there’s no wrong weather, just the wrong clothes? Or something like that. I paired this with a Flanders base layer and light gloves on a 41F ride and was very comfortable. Ive used this in the upper 40s with no base layer and felt pretty toasty. I do run a little hot i suppose, but you should definitely add this as an option to your cycling wardrobe.

When I put these on i really do forget about the temp. 31F and I keep waiting for something to happen? Cold fingers and panic never showed up. They are not snug but not bulky. They’re really comfortable. Shifting, operating lights, scrolling thru my Garmin.... no problems. The padded palm is nice. The soft thumb for clearing your eyes and nose is pretty nice too. The cuff is plenty long and snug. No air gets in. All in all I’d say these are everything as described if not more.

So first, they are snug. I got them on a size 43 Sidi winter cycling shoe. The first fit will feel like there’s something wrong, but relax, take a deep breath, it fits. It was 31F and windy. The sun just vanished. I was not worried about being cold. It was the last thing on my mind. These are about as good as its going to get. They don’t feel delicate. Although I tend to treat them that way. The fleece is nice. Kind of billowy. Buy these and enjoy your cold rides.

This Is not the best tire I’ve ever used by Vittoria. Ive always turned to Vittoria when replacing tires. I’ve recently switched from clincher to tubeless. Ive always used 320 tpi tires. All it took was one hard skid and this tire was finished. I hit a skid to avoid a car that didn’t see me. (It was around 26MPH) Luckily i dodged that situation, but the tire didnt. I wish i had kept the tire for a picture. One other thing I noticed, from a dead stop, I did a lot of spinning out. Wasn’t the stickiest of tires.

Im giving these a 5 star review. Im comparing them to the Mavic Tubeless tires that have nothing but dreadful. Off the bat these have different feeling. Almost a little sound that comes from the grip. Maybe it runs out after a few more rides. Either way these are a welcome addition to my new wheels. I pray these are as durable as ive found in my research. My first use of Zipp tires has been on par with what was expected.

Update:
Better than expected. Confident when wet. Feels pretty good all around. Grip is great. Ride is great. Installation easy, maybe its due to all the experience I’ve been getting with tubeless over the past few months.

This is my second pair of Inferno bibs. Nothing keeps me cooler than these. Wet is just the way it is when you're logging miles in the heat. But it's not noticeable with the Infernos. You stay dry in the right places. They are a little snug, but once you're in the drops that snuggness slips away. I'm a huge fan of the Progetto X2 pad. It's never bulky and always provides comfort where it matters most. For the hottest days I'll bet you can't find a better set of bibs. I pair these up with the Castelli Climbers jersey to stay cool.

I've ridden thru a varied range of temperatures and have nothing but great things to say. Yes. I've had some problems with Castelli gear. Yes. CC has always made good by their policies. But this jacket has seen it's way to make me a faithful Castelli fan. It's comfortable. In 6' and 168. Medium is perfect. Too hot. Unzip. The inner jersey like layer is comfy. Still too hot? Unzip that layer or open the pocket. Too cold? A wool base layer complements this snug , but flexible jacket. I've even wore this in snow and stayed mostly dry. This is a great all rounder in my opinion. Pair it up with Soprasso bibs. ;)

clean look and great light

Its a great light. Even at the lowest setting visibility is better than good. I installed this in minutes and couldnt be happier with the quality of the material and the clean look.

Update:

I replaced my forks, handlebars, and stem. When I removed the mount, it's a very small metric hex pan head, it was easily rounded out. I've ended up replacing the OEM bolt with a m4-0.7 x 20 mm pan head (Phillips) in stainless steel and it looks great. I was worried about the finished look and it's just as nice as the original.
