Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Pretty great and delicious. From what appears to be a flimsy snack I feel that I get a lot of substance out of it. It sustains me between my post-work trip to the trailhead and dinner later in the evening. The only bummer is it can get crumby if it gets crunched in your bag. Otherwise, super delicious and provides a good boost!

Purchased the red color to match my Pivot and am pretty happy with how it looks. Functionally it works great too. Easy to install with no trimming necessary. Comes with velcro that I have not had to touch since day one. Stiffer plastic than experienced with other fenders and holds up well. I'll definitely be ordering from Mucky Nutz again should I ever need another fender.

Does the job. Installation wasn't as difficult as I've seen other people mention across the web. However, I was not pleased to find out that I would ultimately need to saw off some extra length on two of the connecting pieces. It's not necessary, but looks a bit ridiculous if you don't do it. This isn't personal preference either, but an actual step in the instructions. I've also noticed that in the first few weeks of using, that heavy loads on the rack would cause the screws to come loose and rattle. I constantly have to tighten them, but I'm sure locktight would do the trick. Besides all of that - it looks good and clean, stays somewhat sturdy, and works for getting me and my bag around town.

I'll use this pack for the majority of my rides that are under an hour or so in time to pedal. Anything more than that and I might consider something with more water-carrying capacity. Otherwise, I love this thing. It fits all of the necessities: phone, keys, co2, levers, snack, etc. I also have a really packable wind shell (Arcteryx Squamish) that I can even pack in there for chilly descents. Lastly, I appreciate the small design consideration of placing the strap buckle to the side. You can see it in the stock image above. It doesn't seem like much, but allows it to sit to the side in a more comfortable position.
