Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a nice feature to have, but it's not nice enough for me to justify the steep price and the demand on battery life. My batteries last about half as long when I use the screen and I find that most of the time when I'm using my Gopro, I actually don't look at the screen.

Also, you have to use a different housing back than originally comes with the camera. This is no problem unless you've got an attachment accessory that will not function as well with an extra piece on the GoPro.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

So I had the Podium water bottle and one night I squirt some water into my mouth from it I felt something go into my mouth with the water. I ran to the bathroom and spit it out to find that it was a SPIDER! It had hunkered down in the top of the valve for the night until I sucked it up. Nasty. So I decided to get a new bottle so I wouldn't feel nervous every time I took a drink.

I chose this bottle because of the decreased possibility of a spider hiding anywhere I might need to put my mouth. It's working great. I don't love having to unscrew the lid part when I want a drink, but I'll deal with it!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you enjoy filming with a GoPro it is DEFINITELY a good idea to have at LEAST one spare battery handy. In this day and age, everyone knows the importance of having the energy to power your gadgets and with GoPro having one just isn't enough if you're going on an excursion somewhere.

I used this everyday over a week while I was in Hawaii. It keeps the GoPro afloat easily and if you use the loops to attach it to your wrist you can let go of the body and swim around without fearing for its loss.

I also feel like the bright orange color would come in handy in spotting the GoPro if you ever did lose track of it in the water somewhere. Just pop your head over the water and look for a bright orange cube floating around.

I love my GoPro. It was perfect for a trip to Hawaii. We took it in waterfalls, snorkeling, and on hikes. It has also rolled around in the mud with pigs and gone kayaking in the Potomac among other things. Great images and fun video!
