Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a very good base layer. Keeps me warm for most of my ride. However, for high-intensity rides or on rides with significant climbing, it leaves me a little chilly on the back half. Maybe the thickness? My Craft long sleeve base layer is much thinner and just as warm.

After using these bibs through the summer, I have to say I'm shocked by the sub-5-star reviews. From fast 25-milers to longer rides, these are the most comfortable bibs I've ever used. The high quality chamois makes me disappointed every time I put on other bibs. Regarding the length, they seem in line with all other bibs I've worn, although I wouldn't mind if they were shorter. Cyclists complaining about showing too much leg is like a bodybuilder worried about showing off too much bicep. Recently pulled the trigger on a pair of Assos winter bibs. I know I'll love them if they are half as good as these.

Great for Trail Runs

Perfect size and storage for everything from short training runs to ultras. 50oz of water gets you from aid station to aid station without significantly weighing you down. Front pockets fit keys, granola bars, and iPhone 8 without feeling bulky.

Only slight drawback- bladder cap can be a bit tricky to seal the first couple of uses, but easy enough to get the hang of it.
