They are a nice, tight fit. They snap into place, so they won't fall off as long as they are put on correctly. Great for protecting the cleat so it doesn't get chewed up while walking on rough surfaces. Also great to use for walking on smooth or slick surfaces - the rubber cover gives you some traction.
This was the first embrocation I ever used. It took several rides for me to figure out the right amount to use - at first, I didn't use enough to feel any warming effect. But once I got it right, I liked it. There is no burning sensation and it has a pleasant aroma.

Nice fit, but remember that some Castelli customers - including me - think that the sizes run a bit on the small side. I'm 5'9" and weigh about 175 and the XL is a good fit for me. I've used the jacket in temperatures as low as 45 degrees and had no trouble staying warm. I really like the high collar. And as with most Castelli gear, it looks great.
