These were really difficult to put on, recommend going a size up! I think part of it is the combination of materials and the amount of stretch that is needed to go over the straps and ratchets on cycling shoes. I wear a 41.5 shoe and the Small/Medium was too small.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I ordered these hoping to combine use (wear over chamois shorts in the fall and then wear x-country skiing after the now arrives)... however the tech specs say No Chamois and they arrived with the usual blue PI chamois. If this is what you want, great... but it wasn't what I expected and ultimately returned. Sizing was typical PI.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The chamois feels nice and dense, looking forward to testing these on longer rides. I usually wear a Medium in PI & Sugoi, but went to a large in these shorts. The silicone band isn't overkill, just enough to hold them in place. Bought two pair at $32 each... what a steal!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My other sugoi items are M and I needed a L in this short. I found the inseam a bit shorter than many shorts despite the tech specs saying 8.5" inseam, they wear a lot shorter than LGs I own with tech specs of 7" inseam. Despite the sizing issues, they stay put on the leg and waist just fine. While they aren't my favorite shorts, they're still in my wear cycle and the price was excellent.

I'm a little long through the femur, so I love the almost Capri length of these knickers. My PI sugar knickers hit me mid-knee, whereas these come down to a more comfortable below-the-knee length. These almost remind me of a high quality yoga capri with a biking chamois as the fabric is a little thicker than most cycling shorts and matte finish. These are a pair I would feel less self-conscious wearing to get off the bike and walk into a business for shopping or lunch.

I like these knickers in every way except for their length. While on the bike, they barely hold on mid-knee... If there wasn't a silicone gripper, they'd slide up over my knee. They'd be perfect if they were 1 to 2" longer. I'm 5"8 with a 32" inseam. Yes, leggy... but my husband's PI knickers are about 5" longer than the women's version. His are a true 3/4 length and are labeled knickers while mine can barely hang onto the term knicker by the silicone band. These would be 5 stars with a little more length!
