Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

So as others have said, I layer with this jacket. Temps from 45-50, I use a thermal base layer. 50-53 I can use a long sleeve base layer like a Gore wind stopper material in long sleeve. 53-59ish I will use a short sleeve with wind stopper and anything above just a jersey. Love it and would buy it again.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

As an avid cyclist, I ride 12 months of the year. I live in a warmer climate however winter temperatures reach into the upper 30’s for riding. Took my first ride today with this jacket and only a skinfoil winter base layer and I am in love with it. I usually add an insulated long sleeve jersey but chose to skip it on today’s ride at 40 degrees. 21 miles in overcast skys and I was very comfortable. This jacket is also the most comfortable jacket I have ever worn. Well worth the investment.

I have had several high end Giro helmets and I have been very happy with them. I went to SLC to do a ride and when I got there I forgot my helmet. I decided to just go buy a new one since my Giro's are getting older and ready to be replaced. I tried this helmet on and it felt really comfortable. This helmet is the most comfortable helmet I have ever wore. In fact, I am now looking at replacing my MTB helmet with an Oakley one as well. Would buy this again.... And Again.... And Again.....

I was skeptical to try this because of the price. I can tell you after using it for a couple of days, the saddle sores are gone. It really works. Not only are they gone, they have not come back. I do put some on after long rides just to be safe. If you have issues, try this. it is well worth it.

I have several bikes and several bike racks. This one is awesome. It is light and easy to install. The only thing I would like would to have the lock be about 6" longer. It is hard to put two bikes on and lock them up. It can be done but it would be nice to have a bit more length. I also wish that the mounting hole that goes into the receiver hitch was about 1 inch further back. That would allow me to open my gate on my jeep with only one bike installed without having to lower the bike. Not a deal breaker by any means but it would have been nice.
