Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been riding this saddle on a couple different bikes now, and i just love it. This saddle reminds me of everything i love about other Selle SMP Saddles, but with a little more practical all around use; heck, you also cant beat the price point! My favorite features on the saddle are it's flat and short profile followed by it''s drop nose, something you see more predominately on their other saddles. This allows you to move more without pressure, and the cutout superior blood flow to reduce or eliminate numbness or pain in the soft tissue areas.
Something super important to note is, just about every Selle SMP Saddle is UNISEX! That's right! Selle SMP holds 4 international Patents that were developed in association with a medical team of urologists and andrologists so you really know they have comfort in mind for both sexes with some pretty serious technology backing it. I would encourage you to try this saddle out for an all around comfortable and performance.
Five Stars!

These ROCK!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have used a couple different pairs of ISSI Pedals mostly because my different bikes need different color pedals. I did notice I liked the reliability of the ISSI cleat more than my standard SPD option from Shimano.

The pedals themselves stood up really well against all I could throw at them. This pair I use primarily on my steel gravel bike currently, but they lived for some time on the mountain bike and they were TOUGH. Stood up to pedal strike and the occasional beer hand-up from the CX scene. They shed mud just as well as any competitors similar option and really offer some customization opportunities for you and your new bike!

Great brand and they offer spindle length options too so its pretty RAD. Buy ISSI - Get Matchy, win win!

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Wow, first slip on and they were amazing. I thought I might have found myself in the incorrect size, as the new fit was much roomier than my old Empire VR90's ... but I hear that was the point! With a fit more similar to their flat pedal shoe, you are left with a sleek, relatively lightweight, yet tough do-it-all shoe.

Admittedly, my first ride included a bit of hike-a-bike through some tougher rock gardens, but I was surprised by the traction I had, even with a stiffer shoe.

Like just about everyone else has mentioned, this shoe is unlike others on the Giro line, so if you have tried some before and felt they were a little narrow, well you're not alone! Give these a go, you'll be happy you did!

Overall, I am really pleased with the feel and fit, I did try two sizes, and with my insoles I am between the 41 and 42... (42 : FiveTen Kestrel Pro - a touch short and 42.5 : Giro Empire VR90 - narrow). I will be going with the 41's, so consider sizing down!

The Best Protection.
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have ridden exclusively with the Kali Interceptor for the better part of three years. I love it so much in-fact, that I have owned two! I have tried so many of the popular helmet brands and Kali has consistently stood out to me. Their technology and overall promise sits with me so strongly, let me tell you why...

Kali uses a Composite Fusion process that bonds the helmet shell and foam, creating a thinner, lighter shell, that can significantly reduce the chance of trauma. Lighter - PLUS. SuperSafe - PLUS.

Another KEY feature that stands out right away is the Low Density Layer or LDL that's placed throughout the interior of the helmet - called the Bumper Fit. It's a substance similar to D30 and hardens on impact, helping to offer some low-G protection. The LDL reduce rotational forces up to 25%, and low-G linear forces up to 30%. This is huge.

Real talk - the fit is great and adjustable, it's light and safe, and hey it doesn't look half bad!

LAST POINT - Lifetime Crash Replacement

Worth IT!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I recently took this on a trip to Switzerland to ride my mountain bike and captured some amazing shots. The photo quality is out of this world, not to mention the stabilization the video mode offers is top notch. I have used some of the prior model GoPros and they really do keep getting better.

PERFECT with your Hip Pack
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

WOW. What a utility piece. I anticipated the high quality and comfort, but what i did not anticipate was needing to buy another pair just so I can have another pair (or two) to share the saddle time. I wore these shorts for 6 days straight and can't say enough good things about the fit, function and overall last. i am most impressed that they fit me on day 6 the same as day one. Stretchy but hold the shape amazingly well.

The fit on these shorts is out-of-this-world. I wear an EVOC Hip Pack and was regularly fussing about my shorts - the button, zipper, Velcro, whatever - always being in the way. I was not able to get the pack to fit me as well as i wanted and/or i was just less comfortable. The Assos Trail Short Changed that for me. The waistband is like that of your favorite yoga pants, and over a slick pair of Rally shorts I am protected, super comfy, and ready for the long day on the dirt.

Sure there are days when a hip pack is still not enough, so i find myself even of those days going after my Assos shorts ... they are my favorite - what can i say!

I am between a S and M for most bottoms but feel best in a M for these shorts. I am pumped about the overall length and fit.

Solid choice if you wear a hip pack, or ditch it for a super sleek and aero feel, that's up to you! Just get the shorts.

This saddle is unbeatable, dangerously comfortable, and endlessly adjustable. it takes some time to dial in the saddle and getting there was not too much of a struggle. Don't forget to bring your tools with you on your ride! I really liked the narrowness that i was missing from most other brands, let alone the simple fact, i am no longer sore. I tested this saddle on my road and mountain bike and will be needing to purchase a second, so I can start riding both bikes again! Say goodbye to soreness, and say hello to your new best friend.

Get the Kit!
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This kit makes me feel like a superstar. I love the minimal paneling on the bottoms and the clean comfortable feel of the material. Paired with the Mesh jersey, I feel stylish and COOL. I wear this kit under my MTB Baggies in the woods, on my mixed-surface gravel shreds, and long road climbs. The chamois stays in place and offers protection where you need it without huge bulk in places you don't. I am most impressed with the straps. I am a little taller and thought the straps would not be long enough for the bathroom stops, but I was pleasantly surprised at the sheer ease of the strap design. The design of the silicone leg grippers and the raw edge complete the sleek look for an overall great fit and feel.

If you remember these guys from the website, here are some photos of me wearing the whole line, M,M in all!
