Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The clipless side of this pedal is the same old amazingness that you get with any Crank Bros clipless pedal. Meanwhile, the platform side is is seriously lacking in the friction department. Over bumpy terrain or in wet conditions you might as well walk cause your feet won't want to stay on the flats. If all you're doing with the flat side is leisure rides your fine, but serious riding or even aggressive commuting using the flat side is not advised.

Perfect fit. I take of the visor when I ride road and put it back on for mtb. The bolts that hold on the visor will come lose after awhile, so make sure to re-tighten them occasionally. One of mine fell out and Giro was quick to send me free replacement bolts.

This is a pretty cut and dry pair of shorts. Nothing too bad, nothing too good. Fit and Comfort are ok, but they aren't my favorite short. Waist button randomly broke on my first ride with these. Since they have been replaced I haven't had any problems with my second pair. Material is durable, no fray after the first 3 months of use. Buy 'em if you need a pair of shorts to wear when your nice ones are getting washed.

These shoe covers rock! I wear a men's 13, bought a xxl, and they fit perfect. The upper and lower fabric is very durable, not concerns on it tearing. I've riden with these between 25 -55 degree weather, and the only time I've had trouble staying warm was in the rain. Water resistant, they are not. The Velcro closure on the back has done well so far, but part of me is waiting for it to wear out in a year, but so far so good.

My wife wears a women's size 10 shoe, we got her a medium pair, and they fit, but are very tight. Warmth wise they are great. Went on a 3 hour ride last week in 40 degree mist/rain and her feet were warm the whole ride. Aside from warmth, the upper fabric seems better suited for the road rider, not a mtb rider. Easy to imagine the upper fabric tearing on a branch or thorn, they don't feel as durable as the softshell shoe covers that pearl izumi makes.

I have a cyclocross bike (equipped with this derailleur) that I use as a commuter in a city full of cobble stone streets. I also "explore" a lot on this bike. I'm currently on my second 105 rear derailleur. For the price you can't bet the smooth shifting and durability, but it will wear out. First one lasted me 1 year of riding almost every day and lots of abuse. As is it got old I started feeling a lot of vibration and it wouldn't hold chain tension, so the chain would jump off occasionally while riding on cobblestone, but no problems on pavement, ever. But, again, for the price it is a hell of a derailleur.

Got these as an early xmas present for my wife. She has used them a dozen times now and loves them. Used in temperatures between 25-45 degrees and they have done well in that threshold. Normally, my wife always has cold hands, but as long as she puts these on when her hands are warm and the gloves are warm, she will stay warm for a 4 hour ride easily. Fit is relaxed, so if you like your bike gear to be spray on tight these aren't for you, but if you tour, mtb, and commute, she recommends them.
