The light brightness, pattern and settings are good. The flashing setting is a bit slow and you can hear the light making noise - not the quietest LED - CatEye products are silent.
The battery is removable (replaceable) which is a plus compared to Volt 1200.
The sturdiness of the micro usb charging port should be improved.
I have to return mine after 10-12 charges it is coming loose and hard to make it charge properly.
Corners are sharp, but I haven't cut myself yet.
The mount is very difficult to use compared to CatEye's mount, although the helment mount option is cool. A bit heavy as a helmet light, but I am used to motorcycle helmets so it's not bad and awesome to see clearly everywhere I turn my head it's like a field spotting light.
Additionally, these are so bright now they blind other pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists. A beam pattern like projection lights in cars will need to be introduced as these pose a danger especially when on high settings.
Once they fix these design flaws, I'd give it 5 stars.
Using on an XtraCycle EdgeRunner 48volt 8Fun center drive electrified cargo bike. I would like to see some lights that can be integrated into the bike more and use onboard or generated power so they don't have to be removed for security purposes when leaving the bike.
