Familiarity: I've used it several times

This vest has reached near perfection levels. The addition of the two rear pockets is simply brilliant and they hold plenty but lay flat when not in use. The gore fabric stretches beautifully, blocks the wind and light moisture, and the back breaths incredibly well. No fabric flap but you can still expand your chest in it when breathing hard. Zipper slides very easily for quick heat dumps. And I did I say that it simply looks amazing? This is a race fit so be ready for a close to body fit everywhere, including the arm holes. If you want a relaxed fit, size up one or look for a different vest. Once on the bike you forget it is there. Have been riding this in temps from the low 40's to about 60 with NanoFlex arm warmers and couldn't be happier. Zip down for the hills and zip up for the descents. I'm a large in Castelli and found this to be true to size though tighter due to the race fit. My new favorite piece of kit for Nor Cal winters.

Was looking for a new road jersey and came across this (I am a Castelli fan). Colors, fabrics, fit, rear zipper pocket, are all impressive and the jersey is supper light! Have worn it under a perfetto vest and you can't tell it is there. The slightly longer arms have been fantastic and hold up my NanoFlex arm warmers (worn under the sleeve) nicely--no more having to pull them up every 15 minutes. One thing to consider that is simply a design choice by Castelli: the neck collar zipper is higher than a climbers jersey and you can slightly feel it when you wear a vest with it. I simply zip my collar on the shirt down an inch or so and all is good. For the price these are at now, I can't imagine why you wouldn't by one of these if you are in need of a great looking jersey that can do it all and be comfortable without excess fabric. The mark of a good jersey for me is that I can forget it is on; this jersey does that for me. If you want a comfortable jersey that is up to any task and looks great... you just found it. I wear a large in Castelli and found this jersey to run pretty true: in-between the free aero and the prologo--form fitting but in no way restrictive. Did I say I bought two?

These are the perfect winter gloves for Northern California and for spring and fall in most other places. Perform great in temps from 45 - 60 degrees and have used them down to 40 degrees--takes about 30 minutes for fingers to warm up to comfortable at 40. Fit is slightly tighter than Castelli's normal XL. Grip is great and dexterity is fantastic. These are not water resistant, so know that going in, but for cool and dry riding these are simply fantastic! Getting them off is a bit more challenging due to not having a velcro cuff, but I actually prefer this design as there is nothing to catch things on and the cuff seals very nicely either over or under my arm warmers. Touch screen functionality is so so, but these are not designed for that so nothing to complain about. Simply love these.

These are large enough to block the wind but fit my smaller face really well. No tears from wind in the eyes. Optics are great. Fit is pretty good--I wish they were just a tad farther from my eyebrows but no big deal (I just clean them after every ride). Only used in bright sun and the tint is great in the darker lens. Haven't needed to try the other lenses yet. The looks are good. Adjustable nose piece is great. Got these on sale here at CC and the value is simply fantastic! A very happy rider in my Tifosis.

Have been thinking of switching to a 50/34 for some time and finally saw this crank at a great price here on CC. Very happy with the product; installation was easy; and works flawlessly on my 10 speed setup. It's not quite like an e-bike for going up hills, but I've noticed the lower gearing up front has helped for the steep ones here in Northern California. I'm not missing the top end 53 either. Even riding with a group in a paceline has not been a problem on the 50. Happy in every respect! And the not to be missed: the crank just looks good!
