Familiarity: I've used it several times

I personally use the joint VPD 2.0 but my girlfriend did not want something that bulky so I got here these and this is what she had to say: These knee pads will definitely provide protection although they are lighter weight, so they are much less of a burden to throw in a backpack for the uphill sections of rides. The stretchy neoprene fabric and quick adjustable strap makes it easy to put these pads on, which is important when your buddies are waiting on ya. Overall I’d give them a thumbs up!

I bought these for my girlfriend and this is what she had to say: Should have bought a small instead of medium because the pads did eventually start to migrate away from the elbows, but only in the roughest conditions. Other than that, they were great! Felt much more protected riding with these elbow pads! Thin enough to fit underneath a three-quarter length sleeve jersey, and I didn’t overheat or feel burdened by a heavy pad while riding

Pair number 2! because they are that great. before that I came from the crankbrothers mallet pedal, another popular all mountain/ enduro pedal. I liked the mallets a lot and rode with them for years but the engagement on the shimano pedals feels much stronger, there is less float and they do not need to be rebuilt as often as the crankbrothers. I definitely made the right choice. i bash them on all kinda of hard surfaces. rocks, curbs, etc, and they keep on kicking. or spinning. or whatever.

this is my second ergon saddle I have purchased in this model and I will buy another one for my next bike. I also here other models are great too but this is the one aimed towards my style of riding.

Lets get real here for a second. I'm not fast enough for a 36. the 34 will take anything I can throw at it so I will save myself some weight and it has been doing great. Climb mode feels rigid and I am confident enough on it to jump over some rusty old cars. works for me.
