This is a warm (fleeced interior), comfortable 3/4 length tight with a well formed comfortable chamois. The seams however are very prominent, and make it look like you are wearing underwear. The leg grips are also snug, and the back of the waist band is an exposed elastic strap, not comfortable. Sadly I returned them.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

This jacket is pretty perfect for shoulder season in the northeast. The Windproof fabric warms you up very quickly. I have only used it in light rain so far, but it worked well. It is not as packable as I would like, probably because of the bulk of the liner, but it will fit into a jersey pocket. I have a long reach, and the cuffs are long enough. I purchased the white and black, which provides just enough visibility on pre dawn rides.

The jacket is cut very nicely, and the grey/silver fabric is great for visibility. The jacket tries to separate the outer windproof layer from the inner fleece layer by giving the fleece layer its own zipper. This basically amounts to a mini shirt of fleece with its own zipper as it is very short, and when zipped changes the fit of the jacket. They missed the mark on this jacket. If it had been <40$ I could have put up with or cut out the fleece, otherwise it is cumbersome.

The cut of these shorts was very snug around the thigh, and too loose around the waist and butt. The shorts have side zippers that expand this part of the short but frankly it just looks like you have busted out of your short. The liner short is boy shorts, which would be nice but the small legs rode up and became constricting. The chamois was very wide and made your legs rub against it.

This jacket is constructed of a heavier fleece lined soft shell-like fabric. The cut is pretty dead on for cycling, and the sleeves were even long enough for me. (5'11" 155lbs) The reason I returned it, despite loving the fabric in cold and the cut, is that the venting in the back is a completely permeable fabric. In the northeast it is rare to have cold (<30 degrees F) without some amount of precipitation, and I would have been soaked too quickly.
