Familiarity: I've used it several times

OK SO, normally I HATE those elastic bands at the bottom of the leg on liners. I have pretty muscular quads and even when the rest of the shorts fit in the waist/butt/hips, those bands are ALWAYS too tight and literally leave a mark on my leg hours after I've taken them off. NOT THESE! (Round of applause). I have these in a small. I'm about 5'4 123lbs athletic build. I love them. They're comfy and stay in place but don't feel like they're pinching me anywhere. Also they are super high-waisted (just covered my belly button). Big fan.

I got a chance to use this piece in Virginia while riding on a hotttttt day. I am about 5’4/ athletic build - small waist but broad shoulders with a long torso. The small fit perfectly, but it is a tad more form fitting than some of my other mountain bike jerseys which are kind of boxy (no shape) and flowy. Definitely would still consider it to be in the all-mountain/ trail category. Wasn’t tight across my upper back or hips. Bonus! - the way the breathable panels are tailored along the sides is super flattering. The four way stretch was perfect for an incredibly varied ride with climbing, fast descents and intermittent rock gardens and the little silicone dots along the bottom of the jersey kept it in place.

So I have tried a lot of different brands with varying lengths, weights, styles, etc. and these are sure to become my go-to shorts.

FIT - I am 5'4, 123lbs with an athletic build. I have trouble finding shorts/pants that are snug enough in the waist and roomy enough in the thighs/hips. I have these in a small and the waist is a little loose when I first pull them on, BUT the hook and loop tabs allow me to cinch it in for a perfect, secure fit - no gaping space between my shorts and my lower back. I might have been able to get away with an XS because of the four-way stretch but I prefer the extra room for my quads/hips! SPEAKING of the four-way stretch: It's everything. These allow me to move freely in any direction no matter how hard I'm pushing and they don't ride up my thighs while I'm pedaling either (PET PEEVE). I can climb for miles or squat on the ground to fix my chain without feeling at all restricted.

MATERIAL - Already covered the four way stretch, but wanted to mention the weight. These are heavy enough to feel like they'll protect my skin if I go down, but not so much that they're too hot for long summer rides. They also have build in ventilation to help with the latter.

POCKETS - THEY HAVE POCKETS! AND they aren't bulky and unflattering against the outer thigh.

AESTHETIC - The design is attractive and clean. The fit is flattering and the coral blue is MY FAVORITE.

Highly recommend. As I stated I've tried lots of different brands and I tend to pick and choose what I'll wear based on weather, duration, etc. - but these seem like they'll do it all. Excited to put them to the test this season.

Best color ever. But besides that, this jersey is killer. It fit tight enough that I didn't feel like there was too much fabric blowing in the breeze, but not so fitted that it restricted mobility at all. The back is long, which is a must when standing up and bombing steep sections. The material is super soft, and slightly heavier than I imagined. Not too heavy, but a little more weight to it than some of my other jerseys. It feels like the material could withstand a trip over the handlebars. I could see this being my go-to for fall riding and I would definitely wear it with a pair of jeans to grab a beer, too! The hidden pocket is much appreciated - perfect for fruit snacks!

4 Way Stretch, Heck Yes

Ok so I'm pretty short - short, athletic legs, curvy hips, long torso, small waist. Finding bottoms that aren't too big in the waist, too tight in the QUAD-zillas and/or a super awkward length is a constant challenge for me. THAT being said, these shorts fit! I wasn't sure how I'd feel about how short they were, but they were surprisingly flattering on. They fell an inch or two above my knee. When I rode, they did ride up as all shorts do, but they weren't tight or restricting in any way. Four way stretch FOR THE WIN. I had the waist cinched most of the way and had no issue with a gaping space in the back. Breathability was spot on, too. The sleek, clean black is my jam. I didn't feel any weird seams rubbing. Super comfortable and practical.

Perfect little bag for cruising around town on my townie. I can throw my wallet, a couple snacks, my phone, sunglasses and other random things in there and feel like they're safe. It's comfy and super low profile, which I loooove. I do wish there were some fun colors, though!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My husband works in a bike shop and commutes there on his townie. Go figure. He uses it quite a bit more than I do. This bag is perfect to carry a couple of his tools, his lunch (which he never makes) and his laptop. We live in the Adirondack Mountains and this Spring has been RELENTLESSLY rainy. Not at all an issue - he feels totally comfortable transporting his electronics. It's high quality and designed to deal with wet weather. Straps are comfy. Bag fits a lot of stuff but is still low profile. AND It has a waist strap to keep it from swinging around when he flies around corners.
