Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are my first Castelli bibs and I love them. Awesome chamois and nice compression on the bibs. The straps are tight, and look like they might be slightly flimsy, but feel good in riding position. On the bike, I forget I'm wearing these. Just remember to apply sunscreen to your thighs, since the lower legs are transparent. Wish I could swap all my old Sportful, Pearl Izumi, and Voler bibs for more of these. If they go on sale again, I'll buy more.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've only worn these once so far, but like them much better than my various other neoprene booties. I wear Sidis, size 44.5, and Large fits nicely. The windstopper is awesome, warmer than neoprene, and the Neon Yellow is highly visible. They're quite large though -- almost boatlike -- if you're used to tight-fitting booties. I'll be wearing these in future any time the temperature drops into the 40s or below, and my feet will thank me. My only quibble is that the fit is slightly loose on the front of one of the booties and I think they could be tighter; they're well made though and look like they'll last a long time.

Very nice bibs. I haven't worn them in the rain yet, so can't comment on their waterproofing, but have worn them a couple of times with knee warmers for Autumn rides (40s through the 60s) and have been happy with the warmth and breathability. The legs are long, almost reaching to the knees, but that provides good coverage. The bib straps were tight at first, but I don't notice them when riding. I usually take Medium in Sportful and Castelli clothing, and Medium worked fine here.
