Exactly what you would expect from POC. High quality, comfortable and stylish. I dont like looking like a construction cone on the Mtn so I love the simple look. Form fit to the attack position with roomy pockets and some nice thick elastic on the knee making for plenty of room for any knee protection. I wear Fox Launch Pro's with no problem. Sides zipper all the way up making it super convenient to put pads on. Only issue I have is that they are a bit short. I ordered a Medium based on previous reviews. Im 6'1" about 170lbs avg with a 33/34 waste and a 32" inseam and they sit above my ankles but the waste is perfect. Still love them and nothing some black socks cant solve!

I really have no complaints about the helmet but wanted to get this out there to hopefully help anyone that was in the same position I was. I wore a Fox Rampage Comp last season but had a bad wreck at the end of the season breaking my shoulder and cracking the helmet forcing me to buy a new helmet. Came away with a mild concussion but the helmet saved my head from alot worse. Figured I would upgrade to Carbon with MIPS for this season. So to start, as mentioned in another review, if you have a Rampage Comp, you will need to go up a size for the Carbon. I also feel like the Carbon is not as comfortable as the regular comp. The MIPS sounds kind of plasticy (not sure thats a word!) on your head but nothing you notice when you ride. There is also no noticeable weight difference between the Carbon and regular Rampage. IMO, if your thinking that you will see some huge difference going Carbon, you will, your pocket will be significantly lighter! I do have to say that im a believer in the MIPS. Took another bad crash last weekend (notice a pattern) and the only issue was a few chips in the paint rather than my brain!

As far as fit, I love the way Fox helmets fit my head. Im 6'1" & 180lbs. Im a narrow kinda guy with an egg shaped head and the fit is amazing. I tried on a 100% last year and it felt like the cheek pads were trying to pop my face like a pimple.

I absolutely love these shorts. They fit true to waist size and are super comfortable. Also very thick and well built. Love the front pockets to keep your items in the front of your legs out of harms way. I wore these on a few single track rides and I really wouldnt recommend them for anything but DH unless you wear knee pads. There very long and i think if I didnt have my knee pads on they would have drove me crazy going over my knees as I pedaled. I have to say that they held my cell phone and a map comfortably on two seperate 15 mile rides.

Overall very pleased with this Jersey. Great quality, extremely comfortable, colors are dope! These jerseys are definitely built for taller people. Im 6'1" about 180lbs and have long arms and a long torso. Its awesome to finally wear a long sleeve jersey that doesnt look like a 3/4 jersey? It is very long though, even for me. Great on less than dry days because you save your shorts from that attractive mud stripe going up your crack and can just swap jerseys when you get to the car rather than stripping out in the parking lot, sorry ladies!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Lets start by me telling you that I installed this ring on my Specialized 6fattie with 27.5+ tires. I went from a 28t round to a 30t oval.
Appearance wise, this thing is gorgeous. I loved it from the minute I took it out of the box. Fit and finish is awesome and its a breeze to install. Looking at this thing mounted on the bike with the AB bash guard is total bike porn.
Now for performance. Dont think that your gonna feel some huge difference. What you feel is that your drivetrain is smoother and your able to spin circles alittle easier. This will definitely help you on flat trails and long climbs. If you ride alot of XC or fire roads, I highly recommend adding this to your arsenal.
So here's the reason im giving this 4 stars and not 5. I cant seem to clean those short technical climbs like I did with a round chainring. Im finding myself spinning out on climbs I never had an issue with. It just seems like I cant control my power output on those sections of trail anymore and its a bit frustrating. Multiple rides on the same trails and I spin out on the same short climbs. Conditions havent been the best lately since its late winter and pretty slick but I will def report back when it dries up a bit.
So to sum it up, its a nice piece. Its amazing on some sections of trails, not on others. At least thats what im getting out of it so far.
*Update* So after a season of riding, I have to say, im really happy with the performance. In any conditions, once you get used to your power output, you will climb technical sections like you know what your doing. Its really just a matter of learning that you might need to be in a higher gear than your used to or you need to really control power output and maybe not mash the peddles so much as spin them! Def going from 4 to 5 stars!

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Picked this jacket up mainly for road riding. Made the mistake of wearing the outer jacket on a 50 deg day with a compression shirt on underneath and just fried.
Wore it again this past weekend on the mtb, it was 28 deg and windy, wore the same compression shirt underneath and was toasty warm. Maybe almost too warm again!
Jacket fits great, love the extended back to keep the weather off your tail end. Great wind protection. I have a long torso and my biggest fear is always short arms and I have no problem with this jacket. The offset zipper makes it comfortable to wear all day. The vent zippers help a ton when you start to warm up a bit. The pockets on the back are great for keeping a snack or face mask on a road ride.
Definitely adding this to my list of top not Mavic products!

I just installed this bashguard and havent had the opportunity to ride with it yet so I cant comment on functionality. First impression was that the box was empty this guard was so light. Got it out of the box and quality and finish were awesome. Great, easy instructions provided. Hardware is high quality. I installed this on a boost drive train without any problems. Not sure if Absolute Black revised there design but it had more than enough shims to work on my 6 Fattie. Installed in about 5 minutes. Can be installed without removing crank, you actually need it on to line up the chain guide properly. Looks great and im confident that i wont hurt my new Absolute oval chainring riding rock gardens.
UPDATE: Have a few hundred miles on this part now and it has paid for itself ten times over. Im more confident getting over rocks and logs knowing that my chainring is protected.
