great jacket for the cooler wet days. I use this into the high 30's low 40's +/- a base layer. runs a size small. on the really cold days I use the regular alpha ROS jacket with the insulation. both are nice pieces of gear and both run small! by comparison I wear a L in rapha and a medium in the showers pass gear. this is a euro cut for sure.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I posted a review a while back and somehow I accidentally deleted it. But the gist of it was: these are not good commuter tires as some would like you to think. I had 3 flats in ~ 400 miles before having a devastating blowout in the tread/sidewall 20 miles from home. I rode on the same roads as I use my gatorskins and other tires. gators
are without the same issues. I know people probably think I am doing something wrong or a "heavy" rider etc. I am average build and weigh 170lbs. I am an experienced rider with road, mountain and commuter bikes. I am not a conti hater. these tires just aren't the answer for commuting unless you want to change lots of flats in the cold, dark rain or snow.

got these tights are love them. high quality material and workmanship. warm enough for riding in 25 degrees without suffering. I would say they run about a 1/2 size small. I am 5'11" and weigh ~ 170 with a 32 waist. I am glad I got a large. they fit perfectly. but the size chart would recommend a medium.

After a zillion flats over the years, sometimes a long way from home or in the cold rain, I got tired and thought there has to be something better out there. after switching to gatorskins in 23 and 25 mm sizes I have had 1 flat on them in ~ 5000-6000 miles of riding ( not on one set of tires). I can get around 3000 miles out of a set if I rotate them. I highly recommend this tire if you want something that rides/rolls great, isn't terribly heavy for a training tire and you don't want to change flats very often. They are much tougher than the GP 4 season tires and ride nicer than the gatorhardshell's. a word to the wise, the folding bead tire is much easier to install than the wire bead. pay the few extra bucks to make your life easier :)

I got these in 28 mm size for my commuter bike. I bike thru all manner of road detritus.... glass, nails, staples, rocks etc. They have been outstanding from a puncture resistance standpoint...one flat in ~ 1500 miles. but the ride is bone jarring. I expected them to be like the gatorskins but they are much harder/firmer. I will either go to a 32 mm tire or back to a regular gatorskin next to get a little better ride quality.

Got these to protect from the sun so I didn't have to lather up with sunscreen for the longer rides. they are supposed to "cool" which I was a little skeptical about when buying. but they seem ok. I didn't experience the cooling effect but they won't overheat either. I size up with all sugoi and castelli kit and got an XL. quality seems ok. should last a season. my experience with this type of products is they usually stretch out and slide down. so far so good though.

got this for the days when it has a low chance of showers but always seems to rain in the PNW region. lightweight and gives enough protection from light rain. won't overheat on the semi cool days. got an XL and it fits me about like I want I am ~ 6' and 170lbs. all the castelli stuff seems to run a little small to me. so I always size up with them. good quality for what it is.
