Familiarity: I've used it several times

First new shoes that I have bought in years. These run true to size. I wear an 11 US and bought a 45.5, exactly what the size chart indicated. I also have sort of wide feet and wear a full orthotic insole. The toe box is not tight at all, the dual Boa dials work near to perfectly, and the fit can be dialed in far better than any shoe that I have ever had in over 30 years of mountain biking. They are also comfortable right out of the box with no break in required. I rode 20 miles of tight technical single track on the first day in about 90 F and the shoes felt as if I had worn them all season! Absolutely love them...

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

If you scroll down, you will see a review that I wrote for a pair that I bought a year ago and I mentioned that that pair seemed a bit narrower than the pair that I had purchased before. Well, I just bought my third pair, having worn the second pair to tatters, and this latest version is even narrower than the second set. They are now so narrow in the toe box that I had to send them back. It really is a shame because even though they don't last long, I really do like them quite a bit; light as a feather, well cushioned [while it lasts], and great traction...

Still love the shoe. Light weight, well cushioned and nicely made. Appears to be narrower in the forefoot but has already stretched a bit after only ten miles of walking. The only downside is that (at least the last version) the sole was not long lived. The sole appears the same, so I am not confident that these will last any longer. First pair of trail runners where the sole gave out before the cushioning went flat. Still love them but wish that they were a bit tougher.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I admit to being a trail runner/ approach shoe junkie and this is my third pair of these. The latest pair, while true to size for me, has slightly less volume than the previous two pair. My only gripe is that the soles just do not wear as well as the rest of the shoe. The soles are down to no cleat long before the upper would be shot. I agree that the shoe is tortionally stiff but really like that part...
