Pumps air into suspension, yeah. Maybe the unit I got was faulty, but the pressure gauge was off by hundreds of psi. After getting nervous about over-pressuring, I took my bike to a shop and realized that this pump was off way off! Too bad I didn't take a picture. I'm talking this pump read 300 when the shop's read 125. Backcountry - hoping you can hookup a free return or replacement for me on this one. I consider the unit for have to me unusable.

Just tried these on - I haven't yet ridden with 'em. Still considering a return/exchange, but tired of the return shopping cost at Backcountry. Like the other reviews here, the material on these straps definitely has a rougher texture than other brands. Like sandpaper? Nah, but noticeably rougher and the elastic material does feel like it would get loose and get that worn sag look after repeated use. The chammy is actually the most comfortable I have ever tried across brands, but overall the small feels a tad tight for 5'7, 30in waist, 150lbs. The equivalent jersey top from Craft feels fine in small, but guess my thighs are too beefy. Frustrating because I bought another brand bibs in medium that might as well been cargo shorts they were so loose. Even if I do keep them, they're always be a 'backup' bib to my older, but hideous Giordanas.

I bought two of these for the near 5-star rating (the full length pair), the combo chamois/short combo, and the not too long inseam (this is the 9 inch inseam). Let me start by saying these are the most awkward bike shorts I've ever worn. Maybe they're just too large? Both the chammy and the overshorts. The chammy fit like a diaper. The padding extended to almost my belt line on my back and has a saggy fit. Reviewer Connor, here, seems to agree the chammy is disappointing. The overshorts also seem quite big. I come in right at a 31 waist and have an athelic build, but the amount of bagginess in the Medium is annoying - I bought this pair over the standard length pair for that reason. I felt the size chart was full-on wrong on this one. Regretfully, I'm passed the 30-day used year return window. Backcountry, if you shot me a coupon, I'd swap these out and try these in a small and then try a new review.
