Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Sure it's nice and portable but that is where the advantages end IMO. It feels too much like riding through mud. I thought it would feel more like rollers when a resistance unit is attached. I was disappointed. My 10 year old fluid trainer feels many times over better. I'll just keep on using the fluid trainer and switch things up by riding my rollers.

Everyone seems to love this trainer. Maybe something was wrong with mine? Rear wheel lined up perfect. Road tire. 100psi.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

In the 2015 model, without the side cinch straps, a large is falling off of me. I have to stop multiple times per ride and hike up my shorts and then cinch my thick Evoc velcro waist strap down on the shorts to try and hold them up. (I recently lost 5 pounds. I think the shorts have stretched in addition to me loosing a little weight.) I have griped all along that the women's Troy Lee short did not have the waist cinches like on the men's models, so I was happy to see that the 2016 models indeed have the cinches.

Per reviews that the 2016 model was running smaller, I ordered large again, thinking sticking with the same size, and knowing that they are running smaller for 2016 might be the ticket.

I truly feel that there is a 1.5 size difference between the 2015 large and the 2016 large.

Really Troy Lee? They were fine, you just needed to keep them the same with the exception of adding the velcro cinches to the waist!

I am 5'7" 145 pounds, waist 29" hips 38.5" I generally wear a size US 10.

There is no chamois or built in liner. In the description it reads: Chamois: high-quality seat padding. Maybe someone stole the liner out of them and returned this particular pair of shorts without the liner? The velcro fit adjustments on the side have a 1" ish range, so don't really do much. The shorts are super stretchy, and continue to stretch over the course of the ride. I ordered per the sizing chart and they initially fit slightly loose over bibshorts, but then continued to stretch over the course of the ride, and I was stopping to hike them up, and the side closures did not offer enough range to snug them up much at all. I highly recommend the slightly heavier weight Troy Lee Skyline shorts.
