The Yellow cleat gives you some floatability (but not an excessive amount), which for an avid mountain bike racer I am used to, and I like on the road as well. For road racers the red no float might be a better option depending.
The cleats are great and allow no slip rubber so you don't skate on the kitchen tile floor, or in line at the coffee shop (if that's your bag).

Arguably, pedal and cleat combinations are a function of price, and personal preference. IMO on the road they engage well with my Shimano Ultegra pedals and offer a firm, solid platform. I am pleased with the setup allowing me a nice setup for long days in the saddle, and shorter more intense training rides. Enjoy!

I read many reviews before buying this site unseen. I've used Specialized mesh, and Castelli. The Craft Cool Mesh is hands down the best base layer for hot and cool weather. The fabric is space age. It is super light weight and way comfortable. I'm sayin' way comfortable. I am 6'0 and 156 lbs and the Medium is right on. It is designed to fit snug. You don't want baggy for a base layer - snug means no rub. Once you go Craft you never go back!!!!

The shoes arrived and right out of the box were a great fit. Like another post, I typically wear size 11-1/2 shoe and the 45.5 fit me perfect. I have a rather narrow width foot, and these fit really well, especially with the power buckle and two Velcro straps. For those with wide feet get the wide size. The size is true to fit and match my Giro mountain bike shoes of comparable quality and price.
Sure you can buy shoes for twice as much money, but for the price these are a great pair of road shoes, look stylish, and are very comfortable.
