Just the caliper - nothing else
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Consider this a PSA: Unlike the TRP Hy/Rd Post Mount version, this package only contains the caliper. It does not include the 140/160mm adapter needed for the front fork of most road bikes. It also does not include a rotor. Caliper only.

Note that I called Competitive before I placed the order and was told that both were included. Fortunately, I was skeptical, and ordered the adapter directly from TRP (the only place I've been able to find them). Hopefully CC will update the description of this item, and get these adapters in stock so they can be ordered together as needed.

Edit to add: Also, be aware, these calipers are HUGE. Particularly in height. They do not clear the seat stay on the bike I'm wanting to use them on. Be sure to do your due diligence on these before committing.

THEY ARE NOT DURABLE!!!. I love everything (else) about these shoes. They fit perfect. Light weight, true to size, the laces were big surprise in how well the snug up the forefoot area. My big problem is that whatever material the outer is made of, it's VERY FRAGILE. On my first ride, I put a huge gouge in the white outer just from hitting the toe of the shoe on my tire when unclipping (something I'm prone to do). I have lots of other shoes, including white, and none of them show any damage from this happening, but this shoe was damaged the very first ride. SO ANNOYING!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

i stumbled on these by accident. They are not waterproof, but they do keep the toes warm (down to about 35 degrees so far for me). I found them a little difficult to install the first time, but subsequent installs are fine. On wet days, they get a little dirty, but they clean up fine in the wash with the rest of the gear. My only worry is, over time, that the heel may wear through if you walk on them much. They aren't terribly expensive as shoe covers go, so definitely worth a try.

Edit: I wear these over Pearl Izumi Road III shoes. They have a velcro strap across the toe and a single BOA on the tongue. Some care has to be taken when putting them on over the straps and knobs, but it's not too bad.
