Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought these shoes to train for a trail running race. The first thing I noticed as I tried them on is that they run a bit small, I usually wear a size 43 but had to get a size 44 in these shoes. They are very grippy, stable and great for the technical runs they also breathe well. I will up date this review as I get more miles on them..

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

At first I was skeptical when I heard about hydroflask's performance. So I bought one and tried it out on Cataract canyon, I was amazed when it held ice for 3 days in 105 degree heat during the day and the lows were in the mid 80's. Since then I have used it for an entire summer backpacking, hiking, camping and rafting and it does what it's suppose to do, keeps hot things hot and cold things cold

Being a river guide on the Colorado river, I abuse these glasses everyday, I throw them in the sand when I get to camp, leave them in the bottom of my boat when I forget about them. I have even been wearing them during bad wrecks while mountain biking, I have had the same pair for 2 years and there is not a scratch on them.

The polarchomic lenses are great for reading water and they are always the right tint whether it is sunny or cloudy. The glass lenses give unsurpassed clarity.

Those who are use to polycarbonate lenses will find these a bit heavy at first, but they are definitely worth buying. I have even had a couple clients buy a pair when they get off the water after trying them on.
