Familiarity: I've used it several times

For the amount of pocket space it consumes, this vest works great, and the construction is nicely form-fitting and elastic, despite the sail material being completely rigid. However after about 10 uses I started to notice microtears in the sail material, so I'm worried I'll not get more than a single season of use from it. I'm not sure what the problem is. Perhaps the tears come from attempting to stuff it into small spaces, getting it caught on zippers, etc. But if it's meant to be packable, then packing it shouldn't cause it to break.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

The feel of the material makes this seem like a high quality piece but the fit just doesn't work. I ordered an XL because that's my size in 90% of brands. In the case of these bibs the inseam is too short while there's too much material in the waist and crotch, causing bunching. Whether I go up or down a size I'm going to make one of these problems worse. Also for some reason the leg grippers don't want to sit evenly, i.e. the end doesn't make a straight line across the thigh.

Note that these are NOT bib tights. They are a "perfectly matched pair of cold weather-ready bib shorts and leg warmers". They do look nice, but they were not what I was seeking.

The second problem: I measured the chammy and it's incredibly narrow. I measured it to 14.5 cm at the widest point. I do have wide sit bones --- for saddles I need 155mm or more --- but this is still the narrowest chammy I've ever seen. For reference, I have some assos at 17cm, endura that are 19cm, and another brand that's 18cm. The true test is to wear them on a ride, unfortunately that precludes returning them, so the ruler is the best way I have of determining fit, and by that metric they're wildly off the mark.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These constantly slide down my nose. I can use them for climbing but not any kind of head-down riding. If I'm wearing something over my ears (a headband, for example) there's absolutely no hope of them staying in place outside the headband, and they won't fit inside the headband because the arms bow out too widely.
