Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These have been my favorite trail snack for a quick energy injection for years, and I'm so happy that Clifbar has worked on taste and packaging over the years. The current packaging is really handy for dispensing a few blocks at a time, then you can twist the package closed and pop it back in your pack without worrying they will fall out. I like the "red" flavors best, but have heard good things about all of the current flavors. Not the best choice for sustaining energy during a long endurance event, but great for a quick pick me up when some sugar is needed.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought these ahead of a road-biking trip & very happy with them so far. Enough surface area they're easy to clip in & out of and they're light enough they don't weigh me down. Good option at a fair price point.

I used these on a road biking trip recently & was very happy with them. I have wider feet & the shoes were comfortable with thin-to-medium thickness socks. They're easy to walk in while off the bike & light enough weight they don't slow you down while biking uphill.

I've run in Mizuno's for 3-4yrs now & all have fit pretty much the same. These were actually a little snug in the width, something I haven't experienced in other pairs. That said, I've worn them 4-5 times & they're breaking in. I'd recommend these sneakers & the colors are vibrant & fun!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I swapped out a lighter weight front tire for this beastly one and was a little sad to add some weight. Then I rode in Fruita and nearly lost all my marbles on a quick rocky dip on chutes and ladders. The minion gripped the rock and saved me from an endo. Excellent cornering and grip, not worried about busting a side wall, plan to ride these all season.

These pads are more protection than I was expecting. The VPD material is soft and molds with your body as you heat up and move around, and the coverage around the knee and upper shin is stellar. I'm a lot less fearful charging down some gravely trails when I have these on. They have slid down my legs a little at times, but with the velcro fasteners it takes a quick adjustment to tighten them up around my thigh. Probably more than you need on friendly cross country trails, but I am happy to have these when its cooler or when the trail starts to get rocky. I originally purchased the size small thinking I'm on the smaller end of the riding population, but I should have measured my legs before ordering! Turns out I needed a size Medium and the sizing chart is correct. I'm 5'5" and 140 lbs and the small wouldn't fit over my knee..

I've used these gloves on a handful of rides early this season and they've kept my hands safe from scratches and raw palms. Construction seems to be solid and the padding doesn't weigh them down. Great gloves, stylish too! I have pretty average size girl hands and the medium fit well with just a little extra finger room.

This is hands down the sturdiest bike rack I've used. After many years hoisting my rides up on top of the car, I "splurged" on this rear hitch rack. My back is sad I waited this long. Super easy install, secures nicely to the hitch receiver and stays put. Bikes are a synch to rack up or take down. Only negative, and it's minor, is that I use my trunk frequently and have to lower the rack to access the hatch. But any rear hitch rack would have the same thing going on. This one collapses up against the trunk when not in use, and can be supplemented with an additional 2 rack extension for hauling around your friends! if you have a few bucks to invest in a good rack, pick this one!!

Easy to use, solid lock/key mechanism, and excellent guarantee against theft if you register and properly lock your bike! Also adds to your workout with an additional 4+ pounds to haul around, but well worth the peace of mind.

I was a little worried by the product photos that this would look funny on my head but to my delight it's a pretty rad looking helmet. Light weight, comfortable, stays in place. For the price I'm super happy. I normally wear a small in helmets and the small fit me well. The visor is a nice touch too for keeping sun out of your eyes. Recommended for the price, style and fit.
