Good Top Tube Bag
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

It's a good top tube bag that easily holds my phone, energy gels and a few other things that I want quick access to without taking my backpack off. It's not too big, nor is it too small. There are a few different sized straps that are included to fit a variety of top tubes. The bag fit on my Santa Cruz Chameleon Carbon with no issues. There are two mount holes in the bottom for screwing into mount holes, but my top tube doesn't have any. I installed the included rubber plugs and plastic grommets in the screw holes, but it was a bit difficult to get them seated properly. I had to use a small socket to push as hard as I can to seat the grommet on the plug. Other that that, I've been very happy with it! Also worth mentioning as a response to the previous review, the zipper starts off as very stiff and hard to unzip one handed. The more you use the zipper, the more the fabric will loosen up and allow you to easily open the bag one handed while riding. I have had no issues after the initial break-in. I'll follow up if there are any long-term issues, but I really like this bag so far!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These tires fit prefect on my 2017 Devinci Troy Carbon with 30mm internal width rims. On paper, they weigh about 200g less than my 2.4 High Roller II 3C combo. The first time i used these tires was on an 80 mile bikepacking trip. It was 50/50 road to rail trail. On the road these tires rolled fairly well for what they are. I was easily able to keep momentum on the flats with a little more effort needed going up steep road climbs. On the rail trails, these things rolled easily on the hardpack. On my local trails, I was able to conquer a semi-loose steep climb without spinning out, thanks to the wide tire profile. Take note, however that these tires are not meant for mud or really loose trails and will not perform as well on them. That being said, these tires work outstanding for it's intended purpose and I'm sticking with 2.6" tires for a while.

This guard is nice and light. the installation was a cinch, too. The only problem was with the chain guide. It doesn't come far out enough to work with the boost crank on my Troy. You could only use so many spacers. A second, longer bolt and more spacers for the guide mount would have been nice. I hope I never have to utilize the guard, but I'll update on how it holds up when I inevitably bash it on some rock. Another great product from Absolute Black, and the guard is absolutely black except for the silver mounting bolts.
UPDATE: The guard just paid for itself. It totally saved my nice new X01 Eagle chainring from certain death when I landed on a sizable rock during a night ride. The guard now has a big scrape that I can show with pride!
