Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Yes, this stuff is difficult to wrap cleanly, but if one takes their time and pulls it tight, it works just fine. No, it isn't thick, but it says in the description that it is Fizik's thinnest tape at 2mm, so that's to be expected.
It is, however, just about my favorite tape ever (along with the Brooks microfiber), especially when it's humid or wet out. It's tacky and it holds up forever.

I certainly like this tool, as it's darn near impossible to get some master links apart with bare hands. However, if taking it out onto the trail for emergency fixes, you'll still need a standard chain tool unless you were lucky enough to have broken the chain at the master link. I like it for taking in my mobile tool kit, since it's nice and light and hold a couple spare master links.

Over the last few years, I have owned a few sets of these and have ridden them a lot on multiple bikes. As a high, performance, race-day type tires, these are ideal. As a trainer/gravel grinder, they are great, but not terribly practical. The casing (300tpi) is easily the most supple I've ever ridden with tubes. Now, the down sides - they are not inexpensive, they cannot run tubeless, they are awful to mount the first time (they stretch out and are fine later), and they don't last very long (the tread can separate from the casing and may need to be re-glued). All in all, though, I love them. If they were made to be more durable, they probably wouldn't have the same ride quality.
