Sassy shades!

Was looking for a new pair of cycling shades, and landed on these for the wrap and frame size. I didn’t want something to Tron-esque but something still with that oversized lens look everyone’s rockin. These are incredibly light and comfortable for long rides, with a comfortable grippy nose piece that keeps them in place on a choppy decent. I went with the blue pair, and love the color. The subtle grey mirrored lens it comes with is perfect for all conditions. Dark enough for bright days but light enough for rides through wooded areas. They do sit on the face and will steam up when I stop pedaling, but I haven’t had any problems while riding. Smith also packaged these in a really nice hard case with extra nose piece and a rose lens. Would definitely recommend!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love these shoes.

I was desperately due for an upgrade. I landed on this model for the tech upgrades that make for a more comfortable experience, and that I would learn to appreciate as I ride more - Carbon sole, tech lace. Happy with the combo of the BOA and tech lace, as it allows for good circulation in the toes and a snug fit around the ankle. I went with the white, ideal for summer, and mesh keeps the foot a little cooler.

Noticed a bit of a pinch where the tongue hits the front of my ankle, but as I've worn the shoe more and more, it's breaking in.

Cycling shoes are tough to fit. I've found the higher end, euro models fit a narrower foot (plus for me), but the length was tough to get right. Based on the size chart, I'd say these run around a size small. I purchased a 42 which equates to a women's 10 in their chart, but I wear a 9.5 in most other shoes. In the 42, the length is still a bit short, but laced up with my heel locked in, comfortable. There's a nice amount of volume and width in the toe box - great if you experience a little swelling during your rides.

All in all, stoked on the shoe, Giro makes a beautiful product!

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I purchased the CycleOps Fluid 2 Trainer with Sensor earlier this season and found that riding just a couple of hours a week was wearing out my road tire quickly. Threw the Vittoria on over the weekend and it's not only saving my road tire from a deteriorating, but has made for a much smoother and quieter ride. Highly recommend going with this training tire from the start if you plan to ride regularly.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I live here in Utah and our air quality takes a turn for the worst in the winter. I'm not really a gym goer. So after some deep research, borrowing of a friend's trainer and lots of convincing testimony, I broke down at purchased my very own. I can't lie. I love it. I love riding my bike(s) when it is nice out, so hopping on the training for a quick ride in the morning is no big deal. I haven't yet connected to Zwift, or other available apps. BUT I EASILY set up and connected the cadence reader to my Garmin Vivo Active. (On you're watch you'll go to set up and "add apps".) Noise was big factor for me, because I fully planned on vegging out and watching movies, and this trainer s about as quiet as it gets. I have noticed my tire wearing down, so I'd recommend a proper training tire if you plan to ride often. My road tires need to be replace so I'll probably just wear them out this season. Set up was easy. It's very stable, feels solid standing and pedaling. And the trainer comes with a plastic cupped stabilizer for the front wheel. Overall, love it. CycleOps makes a really nice product.

Took a bunch of these on a recent trip to keep up with electrolytes and hydration while traveling. 16hrs on a plane can leave you in rough shape. It was really nice to have a little something to throw in our water. Also ended up with some mild food poisoning, and was super grateful to have these in our bag. Love that these are all natural too!
