Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These Sidi's were the third brand of winter shoes I tried. The others were "okay". When I tried these on, my first impressions were very positive but thought they'd be too tight on my slightly wide feet. So I wore them around the house for a couple of days with thick or medium weight wool socks, and wasn't totally convinced the size was doable. I usually wear Sidi Dominator's size 40. However, I have to wear them with thin socks. I also have Sidi Dominator's size 40.5, which are way too wide, so I've been wearing them with heavy winter socks and shoe covers as cold-weather shoes. Sometimes my feet were cold even with shoe covers.
Today I did a 40-mile ride with the Gore Frost shoes, size 41. Temps were in the upper 30s and no sun. I wore medium weight wool socks. The shoes fit well and kept my feet warm. I (i.e., my Sidis) received many compliments on how great they looked. They look closer to road shoes than trail shoes, which is good for me. I could have worn thicker socks without any problems. I think I could even wear size 40 with thinner socks, but I need these shoes with thicker socks for colder temps.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I ordered two of these in sizes 40 and 41. The 40 was too narrow in front but gapped in the back, but the 41 fit well. On the 41s, one heel seam on one shoe put pressure on my heel. I didn't know if that would become a problem over time and didn't want to take the chance. Also, the narrow v-shape space between the leather on the top outside wanted to crease. Maybe it's supposed to, but I thought that might be a problem. I should say that I'm a 5'4"" female, which could affect these two issues. I did really like the boas, heel pull, the material in general. I wear a 40.5 in Sidi shoes.

I wanted winter boots instead of summer shoes with shoe covers. I ordered these, but the height is too much for me. I think they are well-designed and are one of the few winter boots with insulation. I am usually a 40-41 in Sidi, and ordered the 41 Northwaves but they were too big, even with heavy wool socks.

I've been wearing PI elite bottoms and thought I'd give these a try. I was already hesitant about the price and the color deigns, but I decided these wouldn't be deal-brakers if liked everything else. The chamois seems very thin and not for the long miles that I do. I personally like the longer length. All in all, the con outweighed the pros for me. The race fit means the bibs do run small.

I bought this for the extra pocket, and mainly for a wallet with car fob. the pocket sticks out too far from my body with these. However, it could hold my iphone 8 with no problem. So, if you are someone who wants quick access to your phone, this is for you.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I agree with the other reviewer who says these run small. I have wider fingers but the hand area is just right. I use a ring mandrel to enlarge the thumb area and then all is great. This is my third pair. I just broke out the second new pair, and this newly ordered pair will be a future replacement, because I don't trust that they'll be sold later.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was looking for a women's saddle with a little padding to replace my too big, too uncomfortable Selle Italia Diva. Although the Diva seems very popular, I rode off-center due to its size. In a chat session to look at other saddles, the rep said the Astute was popular with the women at CC, but it was not padded. I ordered this and four others. Visually, three were discounted and sent back. I tried the Selle Italia lady gel S and immediately discounted it for the hard sit bone area. Overall it was much firmer than the Astute, which has enough but not too much padding. I've ridden the Astute saddle on at least 5 rides now (40-85 miles each). It isn't perfect, but it is quite tolerable. I don't rub my legs on the nose area, and the sit bones are happy. Some soft tissue issues remain, but I think these may be due to old shorts or the saddle and cleat positions, which were just changed at a local store known for its fit assessments.
As a reference, I was measured to have 115 mm sit bone distance, and I'm 5'4", 120 lbs.

I bought this as a present for my husband. He is usually a size large and that is the size I bought. He prefers Castelli jerseys in general. However, he thought the jersey was too tight, even though it was regular fit (maybe he's put on winter weight). But, I want to note that he thought the stretchy material felt great. He elected to keep the Pear Izumi semi-fit elite escape fit that was my backup choice.

I've been using some cycling clothes, especially winter clothing, for running, because running clothes seem to lack in pockets and insulated materials in general. I had first bought a large, based on reviews that it ran small. I usually wear a small/medium but I wanted to add multiple layers underneath. The large was just too long and too wide. I then bought the medium. It fits well--I can add layers and the lengths of sleeves and bottom are longer but not too long. The hand pockets are great. It is also highly visible, especially with the mix of colors (although it wouldn't win an award for best visual design). I've worn it once and was very happy with it. I don't think I'd want a small, so it may run a little small, but not that much. Thus, I'm putting true to size.

I've worn this several times, but I've been so bundled that I don't know if it's working. Can't pass judgment until I wear only one thinner top over it, but in general I've been happy with the brand. The medium fits me very well. I'm giving it 4 stars because I don't like the Gore logo directly where any unzipping of an overlayer shows it. I'm sure Gore thinks it's great marketing, but I think it's self-indulgent. I've taken a permanent marker to blot it out.

This jacket is exceptional in its attention to detail--overall construction, reflective elements, snap sleeves to tighten, short zip on back to extend width, deep pockets, and the handy little zipper pull. The jacket overall looks and feels expensive (as it was without the sale price). It feels warm, but so far I've only used it for running, but will use it for cycling when it's not quite so cold (my hands can't take temps in 30s or lower, even with bar mitts and heavy gloves). I ordered a small and a medium. The small was not too small, and the medium was not too big, so I went with the medium. Either had room for underlayers. The length is on the short side, and I truly appreciated that, since I'm on the short side too. Its true to size for a jacket, would be slightly big for a jersey.
