Familiarity: I've used it several times
Basic, simple, straight-forward, well made bag.
I use it everyday while commuting on bike. My Evolution Mini-5 Kryptonite lock fits perfectly in the side pocket and the little zipper pocket next to it, on the outside is the perfect place to put my keys.
Overall wear and tear, so far, so good. Water resistant and tough fabric with reflective accents. One loop on the bottom for clipping a bike light, though I wish there was another loop for my helmet (I like to keep them together)
Front, zipper pocket very convenient for small items, phone wallet etc.
Roll-top bags are my favorite, simply stuff and shut, though I will say, I often find myself filling this one to the brim, mostly because of groceries. Tough fabric means resilience, but no stretch. Also, if the bag is full, the already tight bottle pockets won't hold a bottle.
Out of all day packs I've had, this one has got to be the most comfortable. Perhaps this is do the spacing of the shoulders straps. Very impressed with the overall build quality and Timbuck2 putting a custom, thin buckle on the roll-top is just one of those detail examples that makes this bag work.
