Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Upgraded from a dual piston to this four piston on a 2019 Tallboy and now it's near perfect for my riding style. I am 6'4" 200 lbs and just needed a little more braking power and found it.
Installation was very simple and didn't require bleeding. I put about 20 rides on the brakes before bleeding and only got a couple small bubbles, no more than I get every 6 months or so with normal use with any brake.
I did have to bend out the brake pad springs, as they were making a funny noise but after that no issues. Love the new brakes.

In size 36 they are true to size, but seem longer than advertised. The short is made really well, works great on the bike and I love the material. I like the external adjustments for size. This new model has a button, but no zipper, odd but works great. Overall a good short that could have been great.

These pedals just work, they don't break, they shed mud, they bounce off rocks and keep going. I have been running XTR mountain pedals for about 18 years and have never been disappointed. This pair is no different, I have about 1200 miles on them and they are great. I have tried other models and brands and keep coming back to XTR for my clipless mountain pedal.

Fits amazing, doesn't move around, and works well with my glasses. I am an avid road and mountain bike rider and have always used my road helmet for both bikes. When I moved to this new helmet for the mountain bike I immediately felt safer and knew that I was better protected by it does not breathe as well. It's a trade-off for better protection and one that I am willing to make.

This is a nice bib, pretty good compression, the legs are long. The grippers on the legs are amazing, they keep the legs from moving without binding, and work well over knee warmers too. The straps are very comfortable, and the chamois is great. Overall a nice bib, I just wish they had a little more compression.

I ride these on a Santa Cruz Tallboy, sometimes just front, other times front and rear. I use this bike as a trail bike and ride about 100 miles a week. They have great traction on Norther California dirt, are fairly light, and wear fairly slow. Overall perfect tire for this bike and our dirt.

I have tried a lot of seats over the years, I had been riding a Tundra and loved it, but the Gobi VS is amazing. The relief channel really does a good job of keeping my underside from going numb or hurting. i ride about 100 miles a week on my Cross Country bike and this seat has made a huge difference.
