Familiarity: I've used it several times

Wanted to try a MIPS helmet, also like that this doesn't have the long "duck tail"/aero back end to it like most helmets. Light, looks good and vents well. Fits true to size and price and service were great.

Wanted to try out some winter weight bibshorts, for more versatility with leg and knee warmers. These have performed very well, have used in low 40s to 50s temps with both knee and leg warmers. Nice chamois, fit well (33"W = large per table) and would recommend. They fit a little smaller than the summer versions, I've found the same thing with my Castelli knickers. Competitive Cyclist had great price and service. Logos, per Castelli fashion (!) have started to fall off already..

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have a couple of these, use from low 30s up to the high 50s with different base layers. Fit is semi fitted, I'm 5 11 with a 41" chest and wear a large with plenty of room for layering. Reasonably wind proof as well. Have worn in unexpected snow without issue. Tried some other brands but keep coming back to these, and the price can't be beat. Long term report, PI has changed the zipper somewhat, and it's not as durable, it pops open sometimes, removed a star..

I was interested in a set of bib tights to combat the "droopy drawers" I was getting with standard tights. I usually wear unpadded tights so I was a bit apprehensive initially. I got them after the snowstorm and took them on a 20 mile ride in a bout 16* F weather. I couldn't be more pleased, last week in the 25-30* range, I was cold with 2 pair of tights and all bunched up in the middle, these kept me warm by themselves. Chamois seems very comfortable, only have ~20 miles on it though. Always great service from CC
