Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Great shoe except for fatal design flaw: the micro-adjustable buckle at upper has a weak point. A very weak point. The buckle is held in place by a small thin rectangular framed rung of plastic that is fused or sewn directly into the upper of the shoe-- and that rung broke on my first ride. If you examine this piece of plastic, it's incredibly thin and weak given what it's intended to do -fasten you securely into your shoe. Once this little rung breaks, it cannot be fixed because the part is sewn/molded into the shoe itself. Broke on my first ride. Backcountry was good about honoring warranty.
