Most comfortable mountain bike shoe
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you need a little more volume in the toebox than most bike shoes provide the MX237 is hard to beat for an all around MTB shoe. Light and durable. I’ve had mine for 3 years and they’ve been put through the wringer. Lots of rocks strikes and hike a bike scuffs. They scuff easy but who cares, it’s leather and just cosmetic. After a few rides they break in and only get better with use. Pop in some Specialized Body Geometry footbeds and you will be comfy for those 12+hr endurance races. I’m replacing mine because I want to size up to give my toes a little extra room since my feet swell after all day riding. I tried the MX237 Endurance since they offer some more protection but the shoe rises up higher around my ankle bone and rubs.

I received the stand from Hucknroll and the ratchet-action quick release clamp that is used to hold the seat post was flawed. Called Feedback Sports and they said it was a manufacturing defect and there was nothing I could do to fix it and I had to send it back. He was aware of the problem and said there was a limited number of stands that have or had this problem. He sent me a new one and I had to send the broken one back, Feedback paid for the shipping. All things considering they were very easy to deal with. My only complaint would be if they were aware of the problem and other people have had the same issue, why didn't they check/recall the remaining stands, more of a quality control issue I guess. Stand itself was very sturdy and nice on the eyes. Can't wait to get my new one!
