Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this because I wanted a lighter, more packable, more slim fitting raincoat than the Home Depot contractors' vinyl coat I'd been wearing on rainy commute rides and winter "event" rides. The material feels flimsy like a thick plastic bag. This is fine: it's very light, and it's truly waterproof. What kills this product is the mesh vents on the arms and the sides, which let in a lot of rain and soaked my business shirt on a rainy ride to downtown this morning. I arrived with wet arms and sides. Worthless coat. If the jacket didn't have these mesh rain intakes, I might use it again, the rest seems acceptable. I am 5'-11" and slim with long arms: the Small fits well. But buy something else if you want to stay dry. It feels like I've tried everything and I'm still looking for a decent cycling raincoat.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love them. I don't normally spend this much, but the quality does justify it. Leather interior, not fabric. I had been buying Giro MTB shoes, but the heels kept coming apart, and ratchet buckles kept breaking. The Boa seems flawless so far, and the interior heel leather seems very durable. I wear these with Eggbeater pedals for all my riding: road and mixed terrain. I added a second insole for 3/4 of the foot, to decrease the volume inside the shoe, but keep room in the toes. I just did a big wet mixed "event" ride, and the shoes don't hold water like a sponge (like previous shoes). Hardly notice they are wet. I wear 9.5 to 10 in running shoes; the 43.5 is a good fit.

Great Jersey

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought the red sleeve/white body version while it was still available, and I ironed-on some inkjet heat-transfer logos to the white body. My company has a red logo so I picked this jersey because it has a lot of white space and matching red sleeves. This worked very well, custom team graphics. The jersey itself is great, better than my others: the knit fabric has a softer face than "shinier" jersey fabrics. The zipper pocket on the back is a nice feature, in addition to your standard three pockets. I am 5'-11" and 162 lbs. and I got the Large, to get enough vertical length. The cut is properly trim but still plenty of length in the back. In regular shirts I wear a medium tall. Rode a Century in this and I would wear it again. I paid a sale price so I'm impressed with the value.
