Perfect Fitment insole upgrade!
4 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The perfect direct-insole replacement -- the size you order fits the shoe you have to the letter! I wear size 43 and this replacement fits right in, just like the originals. I, however, would not call this a cushioned insole, rather just a direct replacement insole -- it does not feel any different in my opinion, but if it's fit you want, these fit perfectly and look great!

This is my follow up to my previous review(s).
As mentioned before, this jersey is made in Italy, so it runs small, unlike its' American-made jerseys. I normally wear a medium in the American versions, but now I found sizing up to a LARGE in the Italian-made is a must. The air will flow through it like water and is a pro-fit all the way. So if you like a "regular feel" then stay away, but if you want aero and are a racer, then you have just found your gem! Super lightweight, best-in-class, best materials, best zippers, best everything, attention to detail was of the importance here when they made this jersey. Enjoy, and size up!

I RUN YELLOW KING, IN BLACK, FROM LIGHTWEIGHT FOR MY LIGHTWEIGHT STANDARD RIMS by Carbon Sport. Whether yellow or black, these pads are, by far, the best pads available for Carbon rims. Spend a little more and get a lot more with Yellow Kings -- the other brands are, well, not nearly as good, to put it mildly. Stick with Swiss Stop when you NEED TO STOP!

Best Fizik saddle ever....
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

From its' sleek F-16 fighter jet looks, carbon underside, carbon rails and its' microtex skin, the Fizik Antares 00 is a beautiful lightweight saddle of the highest proportion. There is no other if you're wanting the Best of the Best, period! I used to ride the Alianti and feared the Antares would ride much harder, boy was I wrong, this saddle conforms to your bum quite well and soon you feel like your floating on air and one with your machine.
Lastly, the looks of this saddle have "speed" and "aerodynamics" written all over it. Hey, you've worked too hard getting your machine built up to perfection, now top it off with this beauty, you won't be sorry, I guarantee it!

I own the older version of this same shoe -- the one with the buckle top closure -- and I love the shoe. Strings are nice for perfect adjustability, but I am a slight bit nervous when it comes to touring with them over 1,000 or 2,000 miles, will the top string break, I ask? But as far as group rides, racing, and afternoon solitary rides I'm am all in for this shoe. It is stiff, but that's what you want and expect from a high-end shoe from Sidi. If I were to suggest any improvement Sidi could replace the shoe pad with a more comfortable, breathable cushion pad -- the blue is fine, but could be more comfortable. Please don't misunderstand, I love this shoe and do highly recommend it -- the quality craftsmanship of this shoe will blow you away, and the looks and glove-like fit are fabulous!

The same great tire as its' 225 gram brother! Same vectran seal! The difference is in the air pressure you can apply -- I run 180psi, but it can roll at 220psi if needed -- not needed. Fast tire, less weight, and very very gripy. Compared to TUFO 33s, they're not as fast (fractional), but are far superior in design and grip. Much much more safe guarded against punctures than TUFO.

Top Speed that flats fast as well
3 5

Let's be honest, if you want the best tubular tire for speed, for one race, then this is your tire. If, on the other hand, you're looking for durability and long wear then you're looking at the wrong tire.

This tire is a low milage, expensive tire -- not recommended for your group ride!

This is perhaps the "only" tire type you will find (in a high-end tubular) which truly pumps up to an extremely high pressure (up to 220psi, I run at around 185 psi), and rolls on the very tip of the tire(for the ultimate reduction in rolling resistance).

Conversely, If you want decent speed without any worries regarding flats then I highly recommend the Continental Comp 19 at around 230 grams for the 28/19 tubular (170 psi easy). Now this is a great tire for the money.I hope this helps!Cheers!!!
