Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have a buddy that recommended twin six gear to me when I got my road bike. Their gear is definitely some of the best looking cycling gear I've seen. As usual I decided to hop on Backcountry and give it a look and I found this awesome jersey (and it was on sale!)

I'm 6'0 and 205 and the XL fits me well. I don't have a huge knowledge of cycling gear so this is just my personal opinion, not a comparison. The Large would've fit a little more snug if you're into that skin tight thing, I'm not.

The material feels nice and really wicks the sweat off of me.

The jersey has 3 large pockets for water bottles or whatever you want and looks really good with the matching bib (not included).

If you're tired of typical cycling patterns and designs, give twin six a gander.

What might those rules be you ask? The first is to always look good and the second is safety. I'm kidding, but this helmet is, in my honest opinion, one of the better looking cycling helmets.

The Smith Overtake arrived at my house within a couple of days after ordering and was followed up by a phone call from my own Gearhead, Mikell asking how I liked the helmet. Quick disclaimer, I don't have a wealth of knowledge in regards to cycling helmets, so this isn't a comparison to anything, just my honest opinion on what I've experienced.

The first time I put this helmet on and rode my bike, I actually forgot it was on my head. As I left the parking lot, I felt the top of my head because I thought I'd left my helmet at my truck. 250 grams felt like nothing on my head.

The helmet fit true to size and has a good amount of adjustability to fit almost any head. I (luckily) haven't had to test out the helmet's Koroyd core or the MIPS function yet but I'm sure other reviews mention how this helmet holds up in a crash. I had a MIPS equipped helmet on my mountain bike last year when I took a good spill at a race (concussion, 3 broken ribs, punctured lung, blood clot and stitches) and I'm willing to say it saved my life and prevented any long term effects related with a TBI.

So far I love the helmet. It comes with a drawstring bag that I keep it in as well as my gloves and heart rate monitor so It's all together. I would definitely suggest this to another ride.
