Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these to replace an older pair of Silverline knickers. I like these much better than the old ones - the fabric provides better compression while maintaining breathability. The fit is true to size. The chamois is very comfortable for the 40 - 60 mile rides that I do regularly. I purchased the ones with pink trim. The trim on the legband is great, as it provides good visibility on the road. It is more of an orangey-reddish pink than a true pink however. There is also a separate layer of pink fabric at the waist, which ends up covered by my jerseys, and which I could do without because it rolls in front when I lean forward on the bike.

I bought these because I already have a pair of the RPM knickers that I like. The shorts are made from the same fabric & have the same chamois as the knickers, which is great. However, the knickers have a drawstring waist that sits at the normal waistline, while the shorts have an elastic waist with a dip in the front. I don't really like that dip, which drops the shorts waist below my belly button, and makes it feel like the shorts are creeping down. They are otherwise quite comfortable for riding.

Nice supportive fabric, cushy chamois, great price. I also like that the legs don't have those irritating silicone grippers on the bottoms, but still stay in place. I'd give them a 5, but I find the seams that run down the front of the leg a tiny bit bothersome at the knee.
