Replaced my Sidi's due to poor toe box fit (to narrow), though quality of Sidi's is outstanding. I went with these Course Lite based on industry reviews. They are very light, comfortable, stiff and after several hundred miles, I truly enjoy them. One caveat, the upper material will scuff easier than my Sidi's (different upper material, black leather vs. high vis yellow), but not a problem, just need to pay closer attention to clean when scuff marks appear. Love the BOA system.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I believe the compression factor of the bib, tends to make one think they run small. Therefore, don't size down, buy the size you normally go with. The compression on the thighs assist with fatigue. Where I'm not completely convinced, is not using chamois cream with these bibs. I still think it would be prudent to lather up some. Other than this, I think they're a great pair of bibs.
