Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have a pair that has been on my Sidi Genius 6.6 Speedplay shoes since Jan. 2013. Bulletproof!

I agree, should be included with cleats, and/or, at a minimum Speed Play specific shoes - regardless of the manufacturer. However, this is simply not reality...

BTW, this part has absolutely nothing to do with protection from water/mud or road debris.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

This helmet has been a great surprise as I have previously only worn Giro & S-WORKS helmets. First saw Dimension Data sporting a new version... Unique & appreciated touches - non-fabric, gel padding that does not absorb sweat & excellent ventilation! I bought the matte black because I wanted a black helmet, and have not regretted the purchase even in south Texas 100+F heat.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Initial impression (worn 2 times) - best Pearl Izumi quit I have purchased to date. However, I have only purchased "Elite"-level line, & a pair of In-R-Cool bibs previously. Will definitely purchase more "Pro" level line in the future when on sale - IMO full price too much for made in China. Overall, my initial impression is inline with reviewer below (chamois far superior to Elite line). Review may go to 5 stars in time - yet TBD...

I ride a 2013 S-Works Venge, currently run Roval CLX 60 & Fulcrum Zero wheels on post-apocalypse Texas roads. My second set of Continental tires - previously rode Hard Skins. I ride 60 - 150 miles per week, & have had NO issues with either of these two offerings from the Continental family (another testament to German engineering). Better yet - got last set from CC for $40 each - can't be beat!
