Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've been wearing Castelli Body Paint bibs in a size Large for the past few years and these fit considerably tighter in the same size. The bib straps are somewhat shorter, too. They're not particularly comfortable when off the bike, but they're designed for riding, not walking around. Hopefully they'll relax a bit with use.

The seams on the front of the shoulder straps can feel a bit abrasive at the corners when you put them on, but I didn't notice it on the bike. The fabric does seem to breathe well and was definitely very supportive. The overall fit is very close without any loose areas and they move well with you.

I wrote a full review on MTBR.com, including instructions on how to get the grub seals to work with XO/X9 derailleurs. There are instructions on their site that address this, but they're not included with the cables, at least as of April '09.

Bottom line: The shifting performance is outstanding and if the previous version is any indication (the 12 year old cables on my original MTB are still shifting perfectly), these should outlast several sets of competitors cables and provide perfect shifting the entire time
