Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a great stem I needed something that was much shorter after a bike fit and this did the trick. It looks good and matches my bike. There is a bit of an issue with the different bolts though. You will need to have a T30 and T25 wrench with you to do any adjustments.

This is a great kit that you can take with you for the rides. It comes with everything that you may need. The only issue that I do have with it is that the wrench doesn't have click stops and the torque indicator lines are a little small to see. I'm a little old and a lot blind. But I did test it compared to a park tool click stop torque wrench and it is right on. But it is very hard to see the indicator lines that you turn this wrench to, and may be a lot more challenging for a fix on the road. The bonus points are that every bit that you will need is in the kit.

DURA-ACE RD-R9100 11-SPEED REAR DERAILLEUR

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Okay I purchased this to update an R9000 derailleur. The derailleur cable routing was a little long with the R9000. With the R9000 I needed a wolf tooth extension to use 11-32 gears on my Zwift trainer. I have installed the R9100 and it is has the wolf tooth extension built in and it has a longer cage than the R9000. I have put it through the wringer on zwift with CVR world cups. I can use the full 11-32 including the 39-11 combo which I could not with the R9000. I will never use the 39-11 combo but the longer cage helps out a lot. What I have noticed is the shifting is considerably lighter and more precise that with the R9000. Also when climbing a steep short hill and switching to 53-32 momentarily; I don't get the grinding with the R9100, that I did with the R9000. The pulleys seem to be more smooth and the entire drivetrain is more quiet and precise.
I really didn't think that this upgrade would make that much of a difference, I just wanted the shorter cable routing for real life rides and races. But I have to say the upgrade to the R9100 is all that.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I swapped early 2000's ultegra pedals for these. The 9100 pedals are quite a bit lighter and have a slightly wider platform for a more solid feel under foot. I tried the blue cleats for the first time last night in a Zwift race and I found that I could stand out of the saddle a lot easier and put out more wattage. They felt a lot more solid under foot, I have always used the yellow with the most float. I now found that the yellow was like being on a skating rink when out of the saddle compared to the blue with less float. I am now a convert to the blue cleats.

I just bought these to replace a pair of 12 year old shimano shoes. They were quite expensive. I really love the heel Security system. I have had trouble with heel lift with my previous shoes and I had to tighten them down a little too much. This lead to severe foot cramping on longer rides. I can dial in each shoe with a different level of security with these so I don't have to crank down the wires over my forefoot. So far this has helped out a lot. The build seems very solid and the carbon sole is stiff. I can put down the power without any flex in the sole. I have put these through the wringer on Zwift with a Wahoo Kickr.

I recently changed the derailleurs on my Cervelo carbon soloist. I also added a cool carbon wheelset, but I couldn't use the original dura ace brake calipers as they were for a much narrower wheel. The new 9100 calipers work well they fit a much wider wheel set and seem to do the job. They were also easy to install.
