Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Lets be real, this looks like a walmart special old man shoe. Nothing flashy about the color scheme (i have the black model) or the overall shoe design but that is where the dullness of the shoe ends. Fit was spot on for average width feet. I wear 44-45 depending on the brand, tried the 44 and with an average thickness sock it fit great. The BOA retention system held my feet in snugly. Didn't apply extra pressure over the top of my foot, was a nice and even snugness. The vibram sole provided excellent traction off the bike. I like my soles stiffer (maybe its the roadie in me) and these are probably on the firmer end but by no means uncomfortable, in fact the shoe feels great with normal walk around use. Toe box has a firmer and anti-abrasive construction to providing great protection. Great power transfer to the pedal, excellent on to off bike transition. Really stoked to continue to wear these shoes. Time will tell for durability but they feel solid. It was hot while i was riding here in Phoenix with them this weekend and seemed to have decent ventilation.
