Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just got off of a short ride in low 80's temps and was surprised that this jersey breathes as well as it does. I thought the wool blend would make it hot but it feels pretty good. I bought this for early spring AM--rode this in the low 50's and was perfectly comfy without a vest so the temp range is pretty wide. Looks great and the quality is top notch. Fabric is really smooth to the touch--not scratchy. I am 6'2 175 lbs and got a Large. Fit is somewhere inbetween a race and club fit--tailored in the shoulders but a little more room in the gut and it's longer than most of my race-fit jerseys, but no complaints. Collar is nice and tall, which should be useful for chilly rides. For the price it's a steal. I'm not usually one to buy/wear national champ jerseys but got to admit this looks pretty sharp.

My new favorite bibs. Fit is spot on. I'm 6'2 180 and the XL is a perfect fit. Bib straps are super stretchy so they don't dig in. All the panels fit perfectly--no bunching. Read some of the other reviews that said the leg bands are tight. Mine are perfect--maybe a bad batch from the factory at some point? Anyway, I ordered 1 pair, road them 2x, then immediately ordered another pair. Love these bibs!

These are great for late fall/early winter rides. Paired with leg warmers it's like riding with tights but the fit is much better. I wish I had bought a pair of these a long time ago--very comfy and keeps the legs nice and warm.

As others have stated the legs on these are loooong. I am 6'2 and take a size XL for all Castelli bibs--including these. The legs go all the way down to my knees, even for a tall guy like myself. Doesn't bother me because if I'm wearing these I'm going to be wearing knee warmers or leg warmers underneath. But if you plan on going without warmers, these will definitely spoil your hard- earned tan line.

On the positive, the straps on these are super stretchy and comfy. Might buy a second pair.

This is my third pair of shimano shoes over the years. They seem to fit me best--not super wide, not narrow--kind of in the middle, leaning towards the wide side of the spectrum. These fit ok in the width department, but I was surprised at the amount of flex in the sole. Every shimano shoe I've owned in the past has been super stiff. These definitely have some flex in them and you can feel it when you stand on the pedals. I would not use these with eggbeaters or the older shimano SPD's (the ones without the extra contact area on the sides, like the M520's). The shoe just flexes too much. Using them with a pair of XT's (M780's) and the extra contact area on the pedals helps a bit. I use these for road as well as off road so maybe off road you wouldn't be able to tell as much since you typically don't do prolonged standing climbs on a mtb, but the flex is definitely there--a little disappointing, but not enough for me to want to return the shoe.

I tried these and some Giro Codes and these definitely fit my feet better. Not sure I really like the criss/cross middle strap--my feet go numb real quick unless I keep the middle strap fairly loose. I can really cinch it tight and feel locked into the shoe, but after 20-30 mins my feet go numb. Not a big fan of the stock insoles either. The arch seems too high for me and there's a weird ridge running right up the middle of the arch. I took them out and used the insoles from my old shoes.

On a plus note these shoes look the part--the white/back with red tread looks great. The other shimano shoes I've owned lasted for years and years. Assuming these will do the same.

Just received two of these in the mail today and tried them on. I am 6'2 175 lbs (fairly lean but not TdF skeleton lean) and I got size Large--the fit is a spot-on. No loose material, but not restricting either. Very finely tailored. Material is lightweight--kind of the standard waffle weave/mesh that you see on your typical pro jersey. Should be great for hot summer rides. Zipper is a little sticky but assume it will loosen up with a few washes. Silicon gripper on the bottom hem is a nice touch--keeps everything in place. For $34 bucks these are a steal--basic jersey but the fit and understated graphics are high quality.
